Door lock actuator is stuck closed causing the door not to catch to the receiving clip. Happens with different locking mechanisms. This particularly seems outdated to todays modern lock mechanisms. Ways to fix this would be manually unlock the door with the key , rotating the actuator to an open state. Sometimes you can manually turn with your finger. Another method would be unlocking the car manually via unlock button/ key fob. If all else fails try some WD-40 and repeat. If none is resolved a new door lock actuator will be warranted.- Pagani technician

It’s probably just a button and going to close it messed something up. Like the latch wasn’t engaging because the computer didn’t tell it to. Sometimes the back doors of suvs with that stupid button will do the same thing. The more we “advance” the more stuff just gets cheaper and finicky. I really hate the over engineering of todays cars. Little rant for ya lol.

@@Titantitan001 I have one of those doors on my SUV and if the motor stops working, I can still shut it manually with 0 issues as the engineers designed it that way. While the motor still works perfectly, I have shut it manually a few times as I am used to having to shut hatch backs manually in the past and just forgot my SUV has the feature when I first got it. If the simple act of manually closing the door is enough to break it, then it was a piss poor design in the first place.

It's funny cause all you need to know is basic knowledge on doors. The Pagani uses an older locking system, so if the door is already locked when open, it won't close. Happened with my old Ford. You can actually see the little silver pin out on the side where the lock is. Owner and Valet are wack lol
