My most ambitious mod project so far! (I swear I say that every time......) But seriously, those tiny chrono hands were a nightmare. But, I got the job done, somehow. I actually really like it. I'll buy maybe a rally strap or something from Fluco for it, and call it a day. What is next?! Actually, I have another two mods already lined up....... Cheers, Jody

I've done this with a couple of watches and movements, and that poxy centre second hand always gets me to the verge of throwing the whole shooting match out the window! Good job Jody!

Looks awesome! Right into the 70s feel with my dad’s old ‘73 Seiko (bright blue dial day date mesh strap in a square case). Fantastic job! The MOD looks great! I'm at the point in my life where changing the battery in a G-Shock 5600e has me feeling like a king. That donor watch was rather unsightly and hurt my eyes for sure.

Best designer TV on wrist :D! Great transfer, Jody. Looked really painstaking with the chronometer hands. End result is really art deco. Love it!

I was almost worried about seeing that TechnoMarine rotor through some kind of exhibition caseback - that sort of brand mismatch would've driven me, personally, absolutely insane. Great mod, impressive outcome; good work!

I've found that a loupe helps quite a bit with the extra small fiddly bits. Not sure if you happen to use one already but I can recommend it. A standard Bausch & Lomb will cost about $10. A triplet is going to be significantly more expensive though. A 4x loupe seems to be the standard for most watchmakers.

8:37. Looks beautiful. Love the case and Steve McQueen would too I'm sure. A rally strap is mentioned below, and yes, a black one would be great but the mesh is also highly period-appropriate. You in a tux, a mock Glock in your fist and that watch on your wrist, your silver hair glinting, the final touch would be a pair of glasses like Michael Caine's in Alfie...magic!

One trick I learnt from other watch mod videos is that you can use rodico putty to 'pick up' the hands and place them onto the pinion before using the hand pushers. It's much much easier than using tweezers.

Nice job. 👍 The light coloured canvas or the mesh is probably the straps of choice with that case for me. Excellent use for the movement in what was a truly awful looking watch, you got a bargain there and gave the 7750 a nice new home.

Yeah, there really aren't that many decent cases for the 7750. This was the best of the bunch and is definitely an acquired taste! Good luck. Jody
