This lady is so smart. She covered all her bases with tracking numbers too PLUS she cleaned up. A lot of people don’t even do that. Even when your a good person people still try to take more from you.

The thing with the keys gets me, because as soon as the date to turn in the keys has passed, the locks should be changed for the next tenants anyway. Not having them returned on time is a petty excuse to get more money out of you.

This is a crisis around the nation. While we are busy tearing each other down over politics, race, immigration etc., greedy corporations and the 1% have fleeced this country, avoid taxes, have dismantled the middle class, sent jobs overseas, have done away with pensions and health insurance and have working and retired Americans living in their cars and having to rely on food pantries!

This is the new retirement option these days. Work all your life, struggle and then live in your vehicle. I know so many seniors facing this and most haven't been evicted. They just have social security as their main source of income and can't afford market rent.

The sad part about this is it can happen to any of us. Be thankful for where u are right now. 🙏

Back in the day I had to sleep in my car. I had two jobs, showered at the gym and cleaned up early at work and ate two dollar hamburgers every day. I wore fresh dry cleaned clothes everyday and stayed well groomed. No one ever knew. I survived, just to proud to ask for help.

I'm in tears, Rent is out of control everywhere. It is soooooo ridiculous, unfair and a shame, that we have to choose between having a car note or paying rent. How did this happen and why. This hits close to home. We were good ppl and did everything right yet our new landlord made our lives hell and evicted us. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because my family is doing much better now and I've found myself spiritually. But it still hurts how ppl are cruel and will find any loophole to destroy you.

I tried to rent an apartment 5 years ago with my daughter and mom and they denied us because they said we made too much. I went to another apt all alone and I got it. The rent was $960 now it's $1400. So now on a minimum salary and almost 40 percentage increase how do low income family pay rent. I guess they want us to live in cars and vans.

Arizona rental contracts are made to benefit landlords and endorsed from lawmakers, that only brings poor living conditions to our seniors. That must change!

The rental office did a number on me. I cleaned my apartment so good and left it spotless. I was never late paying my rent for over ten years. I got rid of the mustard ugly seventies tile and replaced it with up to date beautiful kitchen floor. They kept my security deposit and tried to make me pay $25.00 to have them clean my apartment. I told them you never looked in my apartment and if you had other renters leave their place like I did you'd never have to have anyone clean them. I rented so long that you saved from not have to fix it up for all the customers that you would have had if I hadn't stayed all that time. You colored on the ten year interest from it.

That is INSANE! Anytime u move out. Always take pictures or better yet video. And state the day.

I got my studio on March 2020 rent 835$. No utilities included. Maximum rent paid: $975. Not bad. But not good. Now on their website a studio is at least 1,000$ for rent and then plus utilities. It's getting bad.

Smart lady...Prices these days don't look like they'll let up anytime soon. Soon as my youngest decides to leave the roost. I'm thinking about a camper & be prepared. Campers are selling like crazy around here already.

Renting in Arizona you really need to know the rental laws , keep good records, and take pictures because they will shaft you!!!

Sadlly we will start seeing more of this as rent and housing prices greatly outpace the cost of living. Wages are not keeping up with how expensive things have gotten. It is not only affecting housing but health care. I am trying to figure out how to pay for the two crowns I need to save my teeth. Deductibles for healthcare are so high you can't afford to go to the doctor. I fortunatley was able to take some money out of my 401k to be able to purchase a home. I will now be able to rent out my extra room but that will mean no place for my kids to stay when they come to visit. I shouldn't need to do this as I like living alone but I am barely able to pay for month to month items. I only make $18.64 per hour after being a medical assistant for over 15 years and that just doesn't go very far. Last year my raise was .64 and the year before that was .22 an hour. No where near keeping up with inflation. I am also fortunate as I have the ability to work over time but at 61 working 50 to 60 hours per week is exhausting and not where I thought I would be in life. Lastly, my most glorious day was the day I moved out of my apartment. They gouge you every way they can and have you sign a thick stack of papers basically allowing them free range to charge you whatever they want. As I wanted to buy a house I asked how much it would be to go month to month. It would have gone from $1400 per month to $1700 per month. I couldn't afford it and had to end up renting a tiny studio apartment that I was able to get with a 4 month lease on. Still over $1000 a month. I lost so much money on moving cost and rental fees. I was fortunante to have gotten a house after 2 months so now I know I will hopefully never have to live in an apartment again. I still had to pay to move again. This has to stop. My heart goes out to her and how strong she is. At some of my darkest moments I thought about ending it. I did not expect heading into my golden years that would become much more challenging and I would be stuggling this much after working so hard. They keep raising the age for being able to get social security. Now I have to work until I am 67 before I can get it. The only one getting help families getting tax credit when seniors have no one helping them as the cost of everything skyrockets.

Chicken bone in breast smoldered in gravy, Rice A Roni, eggs, seasonings, oatmeal, water, Pepsi, etc. Thank you. beef stew, catfish, can red salmon for croquettes. potatoes, flour, rice, instant potatoes and milk, Cheerios. butter,etc. Bruce can sweet potatoes, Sauerkraut, olives, figs, nuts, corn meal, Folgers Instant Coffee. FYI: The tornadoes has just taken many people's preps and their homes. I shop online every six months for Walmart grocery home delivery, and I eat my preps and share with non beggars. Currency collapse is happening worldwide, and it will destroy all of us, but God is in charge forever. Look at Lebanon, Venezuela, USA, etc. etc. We can lose material stuff in seconds, and the bodies, that protects our sou.l Living here is a test from GOD. You are on team God, or team Satan. That's the next scam. They are keeping damage deposits and trying to bill you for things that are considered normal wear and tear. It's happening in my complex and the managers rotated to other locations without telling anyone the week before. What happened to.. in good faith?
