Let's be honest. Before the U.S started to help Ukraine, all these problems about poverty, crime, and people not able to buy groceries has been going on for decades. And i'll bet you if this Ukraine war had never been started, the U.S gouvernement still would not spend all this money to help the American society. Without the Ukraine war, the whole situation in the U.S would still be exactly the same. So forget about the U.S gouvernement spending hundereds of billions to end poverty and homelessness in your own country. It simply doesn't work that way. All politicians that have the power to decide how to spend the American tax payers money, have other interests. And helping the American poor population, is definately not one of them.

@@willjames6437 - I think we have passed the issue like country as such. It is easy to point the finger at US, but it is not that simple. Is much more general: corporate greed. Even Cicero was a bit vocal about greed itself in his "The Nature of Gods". It is all about a human nature, greed and competition. Even at the basic level (office roles, competition at that stage, or even "neighborhood": I have a better car than my neighbour, a larger house, more money, higher salary; office roles, all about temporary power and greed, mostly driven by a basic human ego), and all while whole ecosystems are dying, people have less money, standards of living are slowly being lowered, while corporations are reporting records profits all the time. And it has been like that since a few thousands years (not mentioning Cicero again as such but even check some of the Alan Greenspan interviews when he mentions a "human nature" in regards to a stock market or Wall Street). It is just more visible now, but at the end, it is all about a basic human instincts, nature, and definitely > greed, driven by the ego. All about next year stock market price, next year profits, while the planet is slowly being destroyed (just check what is happening with plankton, which produces almost 50% of oxygen on the planet). After all, the economy and stock market must grow constantly - we are bombarded with that basic info all the time from various media (even if the resources are limited; you cannot get more stupid and ego driven than this), and "I'm happy to be working 8:00 to 17:00+ every day" (not including the time to get to the office and back), doing almost the same things every day while waiting for my retirement, in the name of all that. A pinacle of the average life, with a house and a car, and a holiday once a year, watching entertainment all day long, and going to a local pub/restaurant/short trip once in a while. "Bread and Circuses" - and not much has changed since that "observation". I think we will have much bigger issues in the close future than worrying of what US is doing as such.

Yeah, how do you think WWII happened? You obviously did not take history lessons in school. America not getting involved after it was asked to, was the reason for Hitler to gain the ground he did. Remember, there was no military industrial complex then. So, that is not an excuse. America has to be involved in some sort of capacity no matter how you see it. The question, is how much money do we want to send or how much do we really need to be involved? She might have some great points, but she is also extreme. She is willing to let our economy implode, just to make her point with Taiwan. She is dumb as Phuck there. Even PBD knows the USA cannot not be involved. Her saying that we need to be partners with other countries, yes, including Russia, I agree, but we do not allow them to start and collect countries at will. Then we look like a complicit co-conspirator with DICTATOR lead country. We don't operate that way.

I was out filming empty hospitals and parked ambulances with sleeping drivers in it in may 2020. Shit trusting bigpharma?? The ones i thought would see were so captivated away. Candace Owens actually sounds like people on the left pre-2020. Anti-war, knowing government is corrupt(which also includes police, feds, local), anti-bigpharma. Candace saying smart stuff. What do you think would happen if Russia could take Ukraine without no help from the US or EU? Russian forces would be tens of miles away from US bases. China would see the US/EU as week and would attack Taiwan. 95% of chip production is there. In a month the US would be in a MAJOR recession. One don't have to choose helping feeding kids & fixing the border and helping Ukraine. That is just silly. The US economy is gigantic, and the weapons Ukraine gets are mostly old weapons that the US would going to get rid of anyhow. Protecting the border or fixing crime versus helping Ukraine is a false dictomy.

Where is she spot on? Everything she says sound right until you dissect it even for a second: - Wildfires victims got $700 only as a first step, it is pre-set and for anything more the President would have to get Congressional approval which takes time. $700 is short-term for basic needs. Fema is also provides housing. People recoup most through insurance - She seems to think we paid 100 billion cash, but most of it is in stockpiled weapons and training. Our annual budget is over 800 billion, and most of it isn’t helping anyone, unlike those 100 billion. And lots of it in humanitarian aid without which thousands would die. Also, some of it is effectively a loan. - no one said “we don’t know where 6 billion went”. They just overestimated the cost of weapons sent, bc military accounting is a mess - Homelessness crisis is one that is solved by housing passing laws and regulations, what does it have to do with Ukraine? But it’s so easy to scaremonger about homelessness isn't it? Yes, we can help Ukraine and solve domestic crisis both - no one is saying you should care about Ukraine. You have a ultimate choice on what you feel And I can go on and on. Cheers from Ukraine

We need to help prevent Russia entering Europe, as it is the biggest export market for the US and many other Western countries. Our troops will end up sent to fight if it's not stopped by Ukrainian solders. We only spend 5% of our defence budget, yet our military aid is decimating our long time enemy Russia. Plus many Americans are getting more work making ammo. Also we can't let Russia control Ukraine's grain as is 10% of the world's production Worse China is watching, They will act the same if they think no one will stop them.

She is so clueless geopolitically, this is shocking. This is primitive populism for naive. - in reality, USA is EARNING on this war because of HUGE new arms and gas contracts (+ geopolitical rival is weakening without USA blood) - price of the weapons to Ukraine is IN REALITY is much less than 100 billions because those old arms now (while price evaluation is for new one), This is like spare change to size of the USA economy, -Abandonment of NATO (as she proposes) and full. Isolationism, will reduce USA to regional power (19centry status) so NO MORE printing dollar for free (will lead to fast collapse of USA economy -because it is base mostly financial products). Also, China + its allies will decide then, rules of the future word (= further degradation of the USA) Clueless dummies like Owens thinks that USA has bases around the word to spread democracy and LGBT ????😂😂 They are they there, so word trade keeps going, and American dollar stays on the top, This naive lady needs to speak to Kissinger - to get doze of reality how power-politics (and related to it economy) truly works.

One thing I learned from all this is that Russia and America are... surprisingly similar. I am native Russian. Our government has exactly the same problem of helping other countries first, our own people - secondly. We also have issues like poverty, corruption... just like... any other country. There is no "better place" on Earth, we have problems everywhere. We just need to accept that, let it sink in for a moment, and then start working together. I know this sounds impossible and I am too naive for my 19 years to still believe we are capable of that, but that is just silly a little dream I have. First step, I believe, is just what Candice said: we all need to prioritize helping ourselves first. Thank you very much for this narrative, the first year when this war started it was suffocating to use internet: being Russian automatically meant being a horrible person. Now it changes, and I even start to believe we'll have a chance to be heard.

China would take over Taiwan then keep moving towards taking over the whole world if countries had policies such as the one she is talking about, to only care about themselves and not put these countries with Dictators in their place. You people take freedom for granted because you fail to realize what it took to even get it, it wasn't granted to no one people had to fight for it.

Okay, since if think it's "common sense and reason", here's a little fact check: - Wildfires victims got $700 only as a first step, it is pre-set and for anything more the President would have to get Congressional approval which takes time. You have a ultimate choice on what you feel And this is just a tiny part of the nonsense she spouts

Why are American tax payers sending hundreds of billions of their tax dollars to support a regime that has a Neo Nazi regiment in their military? The US brought this fate upon itself, as did other democratic countries in Europe and around the world. We think that by voting in democratic elections we have influence on something, but this is not the case. The world is not ruled by governments, but by secret services such as the CIA, Mossad, KGB, etc., and billionaires who own 99% of the world's wealth. If all billionaires move their companies from democratic countries to developing countries such as China, India, etc., who will we work for? This is already happening faster than we think. An example of how this will end for us people of the "free" world is the bankruptcy of Detroit in 2013, which began in the 1950s. Now entire countries will go bankrupt. The name Adler Berriman Seal should explain the issue of drugs in the USA. He is no longer alive, but there are probably hundreds of people like him cooperating with the CIA today. The US spends insanely on domestic and social policies, WAAYYYY more than defense, and yet because oversized gov't invariably does more harm than good in the long run, we are declining. And the idea that countries with leaders like Iran's would not slit all our throats at the first chance, if we are nice to them, is even more ignorant. In Russia you have as leaders a bunch of gangsters who kill each other. Basically a long tradition with a new twist. There is a major chunk of information that conservatives like Candace are missing, in the US and abroad. True communism includes countless twists and turns in the many ideologies it creates. The people at the top don't believe in any of them- they are throw-aways, and so are the humans that they get installed in. People still think in terms of simple sentiment. Here is my point: Anatoly Golitsyn explained ahead of time that communist strategy after Stalin was to fake a collapse, and continue world subversion under another name. The communist still control Russia. Golytsin was correct.

It doesn't allow them to access foreign resources by enabling/assisting regime change to a "US friendly" leader or to make a fortune from providing the infrastructure to rebuild a country that they helped trash in the first place.
