Yikes... those really tax the CPU that badly?

@@keithkelly5692 yup, I noticed that when I originally ported MilkyTracker over to Amiga. Perhaps they could be optimized, but I guess it's when it's both analyzing the audio and drawing the visualization at the same time that is taxing... MilkyTracker was made to work on lower end systems, but there's a "Small mode" that you set during compile time that makes the interface different, and my guess is, less taxing as well.

@@keithkelly5692 I made this (Vampire SAGA) port and the reason for that is that I currently update the scopes and the internal tracker timers in the audio buffering IRQ. The means the bigger the buffer size gets the larger the steps are. I still need to decouple that from each other. Then it will be smooth.

@@neoman9488 I'm Marlon btw. I've been thinking of making a separate milkyplayer based on the Milkyplay internal lib and add a MUI interface for it. With this Pamela (and eventual Paula) support, the external player is an even better idea. Would you like to work on that with me when you're done with the tracker itself? =)

That was an early iteration of the port with an earlier core works better now. I must try the 16 track option with thr new v4 core
