2 жыл бұрынThe Vampire is a jet-propelled car that currently holds the outright British land speed record, driven by Colin Fallows to a speed of 300.3 mph (483.3 km/h) on 5 July 2000 at Elvington, Yorkshire, England.
Vampire crashed in 2006 during shooting of a segment for the television show Top Gear. The vampire has not been started ever since.
Last year a team assembled and began to restore the Vampire back to its former glory.

Not to be rude at all, and probably many agree, that these cars scare the living hell out of me. First Vampire's sister tragically killed its driver. Then Richard Hammond nearly died in Vampire. They really scare me and the drivers that still drive these types of dragsters have BALLS OF STEEL!
