Oh my god! The exact thing happened to me!! I watched this with my grandad when I was 4/5 and it got lost for years! I’m 22 now and everytime I see him instead of saying goodbye we say ‘you’re a fascinating baby to me’ and after years of searching I’ve finally found it again! Cried my eyes out. Thank you so much to whoever uploaded it

Thank you to everyone that commented and liked my original comment. Sadly my Grandad passed away due to Pneumonia brought about by Covid-19. He was suffering with frailty, Parkinsons Disease, and Dementia. I was utterly devastated to learn of his passing, and still struggle months later to accept and cope with it. He was everything to me and was the Father I never had. I plan to have the things he was fond of in life tattooed on my arm as a sign of my love and respect to him. I have managed to track down and download many (but not all) of the childhood videos I remember watching with him, and have archived them over multiple hard drives to keep them cherished forever. yeah but they were made before mickey and minnie (they were the inspirations for mickey) when mickey mouse became popular, They turned the mice on the cartoon (Milton The Mouse) look alot like Mickey

Basically Milton and Rita got a redesign and thst was why Disney went after Van Beuren.

These aren't supposed to be Mickey and Minnie at all, but rather another pair of similar-looking mouse characters. And these two were created before Mickey and Minnie existed.

You can’t copy a forgotten character and call it parody. This doesn’t look like parodying a typical Milton and Rita cartoon, it just looks like a really bad Milton and Rita cartoon.

You should see when Walt first did his version of them. Minnie's too hoo was his first attempt. It is on youtube. It first came to me in vhs. There was rough drafts that were horrible but even the better versions after steam boat willy. Which became Mickey Mouse.
