With my plan to race the 2022 Unbound 200 Gravel Race in Emporia, Kansas, we headed down to Patagonia, AZ post Ironman St. George/Herbalife24 Triathlon Los Angeles recovery for a 10 day gravel training block. After months of super specific training and interval sessions, often inside on the trainer, we kept things light-hearted and fun, using Strava segments for all of my short, hard training intervals and documented a few of them here. Sometimes you just need to switch things up and have fun! This will be my first time competing in this iconic event- Unbound, and I'm embracing the opportunity and looking forward to taking in at all in. Opportunity comes from understanding where you've come from and where you're going.
