No internet, no global databases to check passports, etc. Doesn't mean it should be allowed to happen today, simply because it couldn't be stopped 100+ years ago.

Regardless, illegal and legal - they commit much less crime that American citizens. 99% of serial killers are American white men. And reminder, the country's economy will die without immigrants who do the necessary grunt work that Americans will not do: Picking agriculture (our food), slaughterhouses (food), brutal outdoor work, low pay work. Immigrants, legal and illegal, build the great cities of the U.S. Chinese immigrants built the railroads. No unions. Dealt with constant violence and racism. Many died. WHO are the criminals? I never, ever watched, let alone cared about RNC in my life at all but I did watch some. I only lived in liberal cities like NYC, SF believing I am left-leaning. This is something new to me. I don't think I am not the only one.
