I paid $5,000 for the mobile -which was what I had, but not enough for a traditional house mortgage downpayment. So lot rent was the cheapest option at the time. Hopefully I can walk away without taking too much of a hit - thank you for commisurating. Appreciate it!

My biggest memory from Waterton Park in the late 80's was seeing a bunch of Deer in a parking lot and being so excited that I rushed out of my car with my camera to take pictures of them. After taking the pictures we went for a hike for a couple of hours, when we got back my car door was wide open. I had rushed so quickly out of the car to take the pictures of the deer that I forgot to close my car door and I left my purse in there as well with all my cash for the trip. When I got back to the car hours later my purse was still there even with the car door swung wide open. We saw lots of wildlife on that trip including Bears but my biggest memory is leaving my car door open and no one taking my purse or anything in it.

I would love to hear "how" you climb. Maybe more commentary. Like, how is it you don't slip and slide down the mountain and die everytime you climb? Or when the fatigue sets in or how to keep yourself motivated to finish a climb? Maybe how you make decisions on what equipment to bring on a hike and why you bring them? Stuff like that. I love the videos, but I would love to hear your thoughts as well!

I have spent the last two weeks bingeing your channel. Which is so weird because I went through every hiking, vanning, hoboing channel like 6 years ago. I remember watching your Alberta to Arizona a long time ago and then...KZfaq just disappeared you as far as I saw. I thought it was just a one off and promptly forgot about it. I think the movie "Nomadland" seems to have triggered the algorithm to start recommending you again which means good things for you. Even though, I am pretty sure that movie is about people who are forced into the van life, due to the US being a dumpster fire for the last few years I just could not go any longer without telling you how incredible your channel is. I know you hear it a lot. I am am "old" now, but have been on youtube since it went live...and just want to tell you as a road warrior for many years. Don't kill yourself for views. You are good people and we all want to see you live to a ripe old age. (RIP Stobe) Stay safe is what I am saying. You are my new favorite tuber. - From what is left of the US.

Us Hungarians are know for our paprika when cooking meals. You every try a bacon roast with a thick slab of bacon on a stick over a fire. As you cook up the bacon press its hot bacon grease against rye bread that has tomato, onion, and seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic salt and some paprika) . As the bacon gets done, cut off slices, and lay it on the bread. Now that real traditional off grid gypsy wagon cooking. Yummy!

So, something I do to make good oven friend chicken might be worth trying in the air fryer - instead of the buttermilk soak/egg dip/flour dredge, I make a seasoned mayo with all the spices you would put in the flour, coat the chicken in that, then roll it in bread crumbs (I like panko but whatever you have) and put it in the oven. The acid in the mayo covers the buttermilk flavor, the fat helps it all crisp up, the egg helps bind the crust on, and the crumbs make a crunchier crust than baked flour crust does. It's the best oven fried method I've done!

Add some cornstarch to the flour for some xtra crispy action on the “fried” chicken . Mind you, I don’t know how good it’s going to work with the air fryer, but it’s bang on in a conventional fry

What I loved about this video is the noise when back in the city, from that amazing calm to the bustle of a city, sirens, horns and the general background noise. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thank you for doing these videos and showing such spectacular scenery (cooking's pretty good too lol). Russ in Madeley, England 👍

i've been on a cross country road trip for the past 11 days, my hat is off to you for living the nomadic lifestyle and for doing it so well. I am very tired, and very much look forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight lol

I loved seeing your feet on the scoot... Slacking on dinner? Yeah, no. There's nothing better than a sandwich, burger, et al, when somebody else makes it for you, just because.. happy trails and thanks, Foresty. 🤗

Save your potato water for gravy. It has all of the starches and carbs from the spuds. I do my veg in it, then use it for english gravy.
