In today's video, I sit down at the RTR 2017 and open myself up to the audience to ask any questions they may have. I tried to answer as honestly and openly as I could--I hope you get something out of it!

I'm 51 yrs old & my family thinks I'm insane for wanting to live a nomad lifestyle 😥 I've saved 20k $$ so far in order to purchase a van. Everyone thinks I should buy a home. Following you for a year now keeps me motivated to stay the course & live the second half of my life on my terms. Thank you so much Bob for all you do !

Stephanie Russell .....As I’m reading your comment I’m a few days away from turning 51. Rent is too high so instead of imagining myself renting a room in some stranger’s house, I imagine myself in an RV. My daydreams are so much better!

@LD R for me, buying a home since I had a job in the city, was almost mandatory. I wanted to benefit from house prices going up, and also from paying rent to myself. I thought my house was expensive when I bought it 30 years ago, now I can't believe what houses cost. It was a burden at times but it has more than paid for itself. I love being able to work in my yard and not have people tell me what I can or can't do on my property. No HOA for me!! Cheers.

I enjoy you daily sometimes all day long no I haven't been able to go through all the videos but I am trying, AND I WILL. I wanted you to know that I appreciate you, I appreciate what you're doing for me..for all of US. I do have to honestly say if it wasn't for you and Diane (the lady who said you can come out here and HEAL) I WOULD NOT be alive today. Thank you. I CANNOT WAIT TO MEET YOU and hopefully Diane and Ms Sueanne....Peace my brother and sisters......until then.❤❤❤

This man is a wise sage, an intellectual, a great filmmaker, a scholar..... and a dog lover. The last one got to me. I have two dogs who will be a part of my adventure. I begin that journey tomorrow. I am starting a channel, not to monetize, but to share my story. I would love to meet you someday my friend. Your channel has inspired, assisted, and so much more. You are a true genuine human being. The kind of man that God is proud of. I have formatted my vehicle for winter in Canada. I start my journey tomorrow. I have been planning for 3 years. I don't take it lightly. I will never be an apartment dweller in this lifetime. Thanks so much for your sincerity and and love of freedom. Love you my brother. God Bless.

I look for the RTR to grow into a huge thing even 100,000 because ppl like myself who are just tired of working 40 plus years, losing loved ones , living in houses full of things but not full of people. I think it is a beautiful thing when thousands of ppl can get together, share great ideas, eat together, make lifetime friends, help each other, learn new things, bob wells you brought this to millions. Please never stop I have been watching you almost 3 years. I will be out there soon and as a female I agree I need help .

I coach (mostly) women on computer skills, and I find that girls were raised not to touch things “you might break it!” Boys usually are encouraged to take stuff apart. Broad strokes, I know, but I’ve seen women break through and grow in skills. I see you doing that, Bob. Love your balance of solitude & community. 💕 🥦🥦🥦🥦😺

@DeliaLee8
@DeliaLee8 5 жыл бұрын
@@jaimhaas5170 Ok, that too. I was thinking of people like myself who need guidance and help with all of it. Although I'm not necessarily "lost" I could use help so that I don't have to re-invent the wheel or make costly mistakes or mess up income (for example disability, SS retirement, etc) by not having the right kind of address. But I agree - many are not so much choosing this lifestyle as they are being forced into it as their last option before homelessness. I am not quite at that point but all I need is one or two bad events such as losing my job, health issues, etc and it will also be my only option.
@jaimhaas5170
@jaimhaas5170 5 жыл бұрын
@@DeliaLee8 yes I see your point. I did not mean that they are "lost" as in "losers" but I was thinking in need of guidance. Bob has so many vids of various topics (some of which you mention here) but it can be a challenge to find it. I am hoping that we can break into smaller groups that could meet monthly (maybe by state or by region) so there is more sharing in person. The once a year in AZ is the Mecca but we need more regional offerings.
