Been listening to Van Morrison since Astral Weeks and St. Dominic's Preview were almost new (~1973) and just discovered these outtakes on KZfaq. "My mind is blown" isn't strong enough - I can't believe how good he is. It's amazing what Van can do with two or three chords (referring to comments by musicians on Caledonia Soul Music). Many thanks to youtube's algorithm for turning me on to these... and of course to Ceccailif for producing and uploading them.

I had Van's Astral Weeks and Moondance vinyl albums in early 70s, student days in Melbourne. Didn't listen much to him for years. Then 2 years ago, with so much time on my hand while in hospital awaiting heart valve surgery, I found the "old" Van Morrison music and was hit with "Wow! what had I been missing!". Yes Rob, I am also grateful to be alive same time thet VM is making his music.
