Honestly putting white on top of itself so many times, it gets gross real quickly. If you want light and spacious I recommend pastels with a LITTLE BIT of white. You can have dark features as well , accents and it will add dimension.

I like to think it's like leveling up. Like, you get the base van but you put in your upgrades as you win each race. A pro tip is to take out the competition over time with each lap and once you're down to 1/3 of the other racers you hit all 3 of your nitro boosts over and over again to push the other drivers out the way of the finish line with shear force. By that time, you should hit a screen with the stats and money will actually just rain down around the van. Hope this helps.

I have to chime in here... 1. This young woman has a strong background as a reporter. Hence the quality of her video presentation. 2. Have you never heard the phrase ‘Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost’, written by Tolkien? All those who live in vans don’t necessarily live in them because they are poor! It’s a lifestyle choice for many know. Living simply, affordable and enabling them to explore and adventure. Why so negative? It may not be your intention, but some of you sound petty and jealous. She is not harming you, or anyone else and she is sharing with the best intentions... if it bothers you, don’t watch. Simple.

Jen Shea: You're on point. My decision to live in a van is by choice. I feel a home is a ball and chain, include taxes, land taxes, etc, it seems more like a pretty jail than having an adventurous life with everything you need whereever you go. I'll have to honor God here though, because I'm a nurse because of Him. That aside, renting doesn't make sense to me: $1200 for rent?! or $1800 for a home WITH INTEREST?! No thank you. Not being mean, just real. Living out of a van is a simple life. You have necessities. And, it's nice. The "American" dream isn't a dream. It's a fallacy. It only seems to work if you have two working individuals (but make sure you check out each other's debt). I feel really bad for a fellow nurse who graduated with 80 grand in debt, and with all the interest, it went UP to 90 grand and she works paycheck to paycheck. Like, I CRY for a lot of my friends where debt seems to own them.

I have always been pretty materialistic too, and knowing I want to do this changes how I think about things. "Will this fit into a van?" "What can I live with, and what can't I live without?" It's surprising how many things you can live without. I have 2-3 pairs of shoes I wear on a regular basis, why do I need a ton of high heels when I HATE high heels? Do I really need so much bedding (well..... this IS debatable, lol) I have three kids who will go on a van trip with me, so I have to figure out how to house them AND their stuff too. It's going to be a bit of a challenge.

Why do you have to criticize her, you don't have to live in this van. You don't know what it is really like, or smells like, to live in the van, what you see is NOT always what you get! By the looks of this young lady she is very clean, everything is white, I sure don't see filth all over! Who says she uses the toilet, just because she has one for emergencies! Maybe her parents are rich, or at least have enough money to help her out & she does get money from YT! Maybe it's a graduation present from her parents (or grandmother), you know a huge trip on the road! Maybe she has inherited money....IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Everyone is not Poor, or broke!!!! Just because she is outgoing & wants to share a life time experience with others doesn't mean you have the right to ask personal questions, judge, criticize, demean & have her bend over so you can examine her private parts! For gosh sake...can't you just sit back & enjoy? You all sound soooo jealous!!!!!!!!! Yes, we know, you don't go bare foot & you wash your feet every few minutes, you do your dishes every time you use a glass or spoon & you flush the toilet every few seconds when you go to the bathroom...now that we KNOW how much cleaner that you are than she, can the rest of us go ahead & enjoy the video? Please, save time, don't bother to comment back to me, I won't read them, I will just delete them BECAUSE I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY BACK!!!!!! This is really nice. My friend and I looked at RV's last weekend. I felled in love with this gorgeous bus and a 5th wheel. Too much weight tho. But baby it was gorgeous. The interior was so high class you wouldn't believe it. It had a washer and dryer too. Full frig, full sink, living area and 2 bed 2bth....Will actually, a bunk area and a master bedroom and the pilot seats....omg. The pilot seats.😍😍😍😍

Your speech & delivery is excellent, a pleasure to listen to! A couple (when I first started watching YT) was as amazing as you are. They had very much experience because they were radio & TV personalities (previously). One video & they got so much critical review (I think) they quit! At least I never have seen them again! You be strong, and you keep going & just delete the "not so nice" comments & let the rest of us enjoy you just as you deserve! Sincerely Judie

4:35 I can totally relate to your comments about barely using your juicer and always using your Vitamix. When I first started eating healthy and taking better care of myself, I bought a $600 juicer and a $60 blender. I use the blender every single day and used the juicer about once a month. Ugh! IF ONLY I HAD KNOWN! By the way, I also have to commend you for starting to reply to a lot of your comments. As a long-time content creator on KZfaq, that makes a BIG difference. When viewers see that you actually respond and interact with them, it goes far in helping to retain an audience.

Well, don't get overwhelmed. Pace yourself. I mean, when you reach the point where you start getting 500 comments on videos, obviously you can't be expected to reply to everybody. Nevertheless, remaining _somewhat_ interactive shows subscribes and followers that you appreciate them. It goes a long way.

Nice higher end realization of a DIY conversion van, a lot of great practical design ideas without cheaping out on detail. Haters please note, you cannot buy a new Sprinter conversion van likes hers for close to the $58k she spent. $40k for the van $18k materials plus labor. The 30 mpg Gas mileage alone is a huge plus factor. What I would change is replace the solar batteries with a 1000 watt hour lithium like a Yeti Goal Zero "generator" or equivalent. The solar panels would keep that charged and she would have a lot more available power at night - for a lot longer. Valuable design ideas, references and product sourcing information. Don't hold the fact that she is selling her mini webzine so well against her. She makes industrial videos for a living, and she's a trained media professional. And Women do have a right to be as cute as they want to be. ;)

there is a strip "thingy" made specifically to bridge two mattresses so you done feel the gap. then just use a regular mattress pad over it. save space by not using the temperpedic. also you could use vacuum bags to compact your other blakents when not in use.

I see these videos all the time, why are the titles always SOLO FEMALE TRAVELER
@sunshineccc7713
@sunshineccc7713 3 жыл бұрын
I think that's because its typically not as accepted for a woman to wander off & travel alone living in a vehicle! At least that's my case living in a van, people are like wow I'd be too scared as a girl, there are a lot of women who would be too afraid to leave their comfort zone of unlimited water, driving into unknown territory, sleeping in a park or ocean, sleeping in parking lots, alot of women want their comfort, they want tempurature control, they dont want to give up their creature comforts or space (which is understandable). I think the word solo maybe comes from the idea that it's more acceptable for a man to adventure wander around on his own but for a woman it's a bit unusual so someone started calling it solo bc society tells most women to get married, have kids or pursue a career, buy a house, etc etc. These are bold brave women & maybe that's why we get labeled solo, its empowering to know we are out there on our own, with no one to protect us and no one but ourselves to decide what adventure happens next in our lives. We are strong & free, hence the solo. Lol, that's just my take on it, I have no idea where it comes from really hehe
