Hi Lucy - loving your videos on Mauritius during lockdown. We're also from Cape Town and try to visit Mauritius every 18 months or so. Have fingers crossed that we'll get there next year for our 40th anniversary. Really enjoying seeing things that most tourists don't know about and we're now adding to our list of things to do and see. Keep these videos coming, please.!!!!

Hi Riki. The South is the best part of the island (in my opinion). You should do a vlog there. It can be tricky finding though as there are no sign posts 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi, great vlog. St.Felix is my local beach when im In mauritius , spent many happy days there and Gri Gris is just amazing! I can sit there for hours just looking out to sea ...keep the vlogs coming thanks.

There’re 3 hidden waterfalls next to Roche qui Pleure with 2 falling directly in the sea and a nice plunge pool near one of them 🙂

St. Felix Beach - we visited it a couple of time and spent whole afternoons as we really loved it there. And the food is also good there. Gris Gris - was a little hard to find, especially the narrow road after the bus station. But great views.

I couldn’t find any signs to Gris Gris, which is why I drove straight past it 🤦🏼‍♀️ Google maps seems to be dodgy in Mauritius too. Anyway, all good fun and really love the place.

Hi Lucy Thank you for sharing I was born at Britannia Sugar estate in the Savanne district, many many school holidays was spend at Riambel.. I love the south of the island, still underdeveloped and I hope it stays that way. Had a swim at St Felix beach the last time I was there, oh! How I wish we could travel again. Nice Clip about Gris Gris (one of my Many favorite places in Mauritius}. I should visit the St Aubin distillery and check out the Chez Rosy Restaurant during may next visit. Got my 2nd dose of Moderna Vaccine yesterday but travel for tourism is still so distant.
