I've been living in Vancouver for 3 years and this is how I see this beautiful city.

...i know 2 people who moved from Greece to Canada, and they struggled more financially than in Athens. One in Toronto, other in Calgary. If you are a renter both in Athens and in Canadian cities, it's better in Athens, except if you managed to buy your own place in Canada and you have good career. Not to menthion the dirt cheap apartments you could find during crisis, i bought two 1-bedroom apartments just by working manual jobs inside Athens municipality. Weather also is a plus in my country.

Worst cost of living in North America. It’s only pretty to look at from afar. On the ground when u see reality the homeless, the drug addicts , the stress , the houses aren’t houses they’re apartment buildings disguised as houses . They have no lawn or garden in or around the house it’s been black topped over to be a parking lot. Each what looks like a house has from 2 to 4 plus suites in it. Stress level out the roof cuz everyone is just trying to make ends meet

I agree. People only see the natural beauty. I spent a summer on Vancouver Island and was not enamoured with the people. They weren't rude, but not friendly overall. I've known a number of people who have lived in Vancouver and other cities in Canada. They all said Vancouverites were a bit pretentious and saw themselves as superior if they were born there.

Beautiful photography and landscapes! I once had a love affair with a narcissistic woman. No matter how beautiful she appeared each time I saw her, the circumstances could not be rendered healthy, and the only solution was that I needed out, one way or another. Failing to do so would cause a complete collapse of my being. As a Canadian, I made a consequential decision at the end of 1999 to leave my motherland. I saw something was not quite right. In retrospect I was correct and have made the best decision of my life. You'll never guess where I ended up.

I have lived in Vancouver and it is one of the most beautiful cities in N. America, that said, it has become and was allowed to fall into a system of woke-ism that has killed and sucked the life blood from this city, drugs, crime, homelessness and corruption coupled with highly over priced real estate that the majority can not afford. Soon the beauty of this city will fade into obscurity unless something drastic take place and that does not include the current government...

FYI, tons of gorgeous sandy beaches on Vancouver Island. Temperate climate, classified as sub-meditteranean here on the east coast of the island, which gets HALF THE RAIN that Vancouver gets, and the city of Victoria gets ONE QUARTER THE RAIN Vancouver gets. Victora is actually one of the sunniest cities in Canada. The beaches in Parksville and Qualicum are incredible, sand for literally kilometres and the water is so warm it's actually bathtub warm in summer when the tide comes in. The smaller islands also have spectacular white sand beaches and secluded bays and provincial marine parks that would blow you away. So you don't know all of Canada. I hate to be bragging about this though, because the population here is exploding enough.

@@renees1211 Don’t be silly. If you visit in qld and northern nsw or perth then you will learn Vancouver is even NOT comparable with beaches in Australia. These town are located in much warmer latitude.

It 's not the topic of this thread at all... ??? wtf? Obviously the beaches and climate in Australia are considerably different from Canada!

I believe you started this thread by offering a completely uneducated opinion about Canada having no white sand beaches. I informed you otherwise. At no point was Australia even mentioned as a comparison of climates or beaches on your part. And it would have been ridiculous if you had. Apples and elephants.

I know Vancouver is beautiful, but why are you living there?, It is like living in san Francisco, maybe you can get an affordable apartment in Montreal, Calgary or Edmonton, 3 nice cities(just to start, because get a house quickly is a dream in all the countries in the world).

How many cities have you lived in in Canada? That is a bold statement. If you're going to use that title why not support your argument? How do you measure "the best" when everyone has individual measures? Or is it just a clickbait title? Your subtitle does not suit the contents entirely. While the scenery footage is pretty this video left me a bit disappointed. Perhaps the subtitle should be "in my opionion the best city..." or "the best city for me....". Please be respectful and do not send me an angry and toxic reply for challenging your opinion.
