This is what bothers me about this note, personal opinion. In the interview they ask Nick, “ have you read the book”, to what he responds, “ I’ll be honest I have not but I am happy for her, I know she is happy for us too, that chapter in my life ended a long time ago” to what the narrator lady mocks him replying “ has it”? Just because Vanessa Lachey admitted she didn’t send her such gift, and because Nick didn’t buy and read what his ex said in her journal doesn’t mean he hasn’t moved on. Imagine buying the book you ex wrote about you and reading it with your now wife?! That’s awkward! I also find it unnecessary that Jessica took the time to write about her past relationship with Nick, bringing to the light what happened in the past, seems to me that she’s actually the one who can not let go. There was no need to mention she had pitty for him, and that’s why she slept with him again, revealing this years later, no need to awake the past to the public and putting not only her ex and his wife in an uncomfortable position, but also her now husband and her kids. Was this for her, for money? Seems to me she has quite an empire with her shoe, clothing and perfume lines. If the past wasn’t revealed before, no need to dig the dirt out now, not very lady like in my opinion. I apologize if this offended anyone, this is just my personal opinion
