I've hunted with my grandfathers vanguard from the 80's since I was young. Back in 2016 I was gifted a vanguard sporter s2 in 7mm rem mag. I've managed to harvest 2 bucks with it, one being my best to date I reccomend weatherby to anyone looking at getting a new rifle or shotgun My whole family swears by them!

My Weatherby is quality beyond its cost. Accuracy, performance and consistency time after time. In my opinion base of experience, Weatherby is the best rifles money can buy. My Weatherby rifles are the only rifle of my many rifles that I can take it out to hunt with confidence that if I do my job the rifle will definitely will do its job and achieve my satisfaction and not just once or twice or every other time but it does it every time at any weather and condition. I usually never comment but Weatherby deserves it because their products out perform their guarantees and what they have on papers.

I have 2, a 257 Roy and a 6.5 cm. Love em both. Cant really justify the expense of a Mark 5 when my Vanguard's shoot so well. For those who can "party on and good hunting"!!!
