Life long ork here. I am a happy looter. I feel it is the best codex ever. I have so many routes to build my list that it feels like a child would at the sandbox.

I believe Steven misspoke when he said that he was surprised that the Painboss was still in the Codex that has an "old model." I believe he meant Painboy, along with mentioning the regular old Mek. The Painboss is still relatively new since it is a Beast Snagga model. He also should have mention the Weirdboy as well since I believe that may be the oldest model in the entire Ork range.

This the the best review of the codex I’ve watched. Great tactical overview and thought out. I don’t get to play a lot so I really appreciate the little rules reminders that pop up on screen.

I do love 99% of this codex, like everyone else I think it looks super fun without being non-viable at higher levels. I do wonder if Billy Boyz will end up too powerful though. Those stratagems are gross and a second waagh is by far the most powerful detachment ability in the codex, if not the entire game. Put it on top of the buffed status of Gaz and the fact that you can give both warbikes and squighogs warbosses now… I’m not sure GW really thought all the way through what that might look like on the table.

Not sure if I missed it but the new Big Mek is way better with in a dread mob detachment because him and a warboss in 20 boyz can be targeted by the Mek specifc strategems and the Push the Button. Also chucking the push the button twice effect on nobz or a warboss unit would be a good way to diversify your melee options

Awesome breakdown of the great new codex. Can't wait to get the boyz out for a fight with it. Got the book and cards already myself but want the new points update. Shame to not see your opinion on the Stompa, hope its more viable now, add a mek to follow him around for +1 to hit and sustained hits in the new detachment, he's going to do some damage now for sure. Even better if it's 650-700 pt now, will have to wait and see. Keep up the great videos.

I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this codex as it looks really fun. Shame about badrukk as he was my favourite model to use. I shall still use him in my games using the index entry as I only play against my friends. The Badrukk model can still be run as a war boss.

Sticky objectives are actually checked at the end of any phase since the dataslate i think,.

The unit REALLY left out is the tankbustas. I converted a really cool unit of them with all rokkits back in 9th, and haven't touched them since, other than putting them into regular boyz squads. A shame that their terrible models have provided us with equally terrible rules. On a positive note, EVERYTHING else sounds incredibly fun! I look forward to losing a lot of games with Kult of Speed before getting the hang of them, but having the ability to shoot after advancing will give them some crazy ability to do objectives.

This is just a point of curiosity for me (not sure I noticed it here or not but I've seen it in a few videos) but I'm curious what the source is of replacing "s" or "st" with "sh" in some words by people in the UK. I think an example might be in an interview with a guy names "Stu" who was being called "Schu" and I'm not mad just like curious what area that is or something idk. Just discovered you and love the videos.

FYi You mentioned early on that the pain boss was an old sculpt and you weren’t sure why it was there but that came out with the beast snaggas only a few years ago.

It's such a shame that Mozgrog is a leader. He brought a lot of damage when he was alone and his T10 was incredible, but now he has T6 and for me it is GW mistake

T8 and 5+ fnp . You can stick him in war horde, still do -1 to wound since he's not a monster anymore AND that means "anti" doesn't work against him anymore but he does lack the 4+ fnp that the squig boss can with enhancement

Yea Ghaz is the one whose t6 (mistake imo). Mozrog is still beefy, just not single monster beefy. Also his fight on death leader ability on 8 squighogs is gonna make up for it imo.

Gw out of touch again....all the reviews start out with " not going to be competitive" but spend $1000 to play a crappy army. Go back to simple rules that you do not have to have a degree in algebra to play.
