Hi nug,, I'm an Nola native, to Louisiana about 4 days ago we had three kids swept into the Mississippi River age 8, 14 ,also 15,. The fifteen-year-old young man without along the Mississippi River studying it for a project along with his girlfriend and her baby sister, the girlfriend slip into the water Nug😪😔 and 15 year old and 8 year old when in behind her, they always lost at sea, heartbreak 💔 😢 🙏🏽 if there's anything you could do if there is any way you can Assist their family please find a way and reach out to them and give them some type of closure,, Our city has one scuba diver and he's been doing his best however he doesn't have the technology to show if that's actually them at the bottom together as their as they say, in order for the scuba diver to have enough air to go that far I know for sure that that's them,,,😔 this has been holding this case up pretty much Dragging it along for days,upon days,, from a parent to a parent,, to any parent if there was a way that you could help in any way would you,,,NUGG I BEGG OF YOU TO PLZ HELP,, I'LL POST YOUR 8NFO TO THE FAMILY IF ITS OKAY PLZ HELP NOLA⚜REMAIN 💪🏾 we're broken without these babies

@Ms Kirk-Law enforcement signs an MOU which states if an agency goes into another jurisdiction they call a Watch Center where I worked. All these teams are civilians so LEO's get defensive about divers doing their work. Youre absolutely right but it will take years to get cooperation!

@@stevenhulbert7540 thank you for your response to my comment.Laws and rules can be changed and if enough people got behind them on this I'm sure at least these small towns that don't have the funding to do what they do the law enforcement would probably welcome them to search for missing people. These men could be used like volunteer firemen are. In the town I live in the volunteer firemen even have flashing lights they can use going to a call to help out the firemen. My brother was in The Explorers when he was a teenager and got to help medic. He got to be backstage at all the concerts. It wasn't all great because he had to help with people throwing up, helped people that passed out from the heat or those that had accidentally overdosed too. I'm sorry I digress. My point is that these men have to be certified to dive so why not certify them as a search team for people who are missing and might have went into the water? Just a thought. By the way, it's Mrs.Kirk but Melissa to my friends. Thank you for the respect as it is getting rare. :-)

@@stevenhulbert7540 Even without the permitting, etc., maybe a simple A-frame sign set out next to the vehicle or at the boat ramp stating that a search and recovery team is on/in the water searching for a missing person might help. Not only would it allay suspicions, but it could result in someone seeing it who has information that could be helpful to the search.

@@eledatowle8767 I agree, the trailer is marked on the back door and can't be seen when open. An A frame or visible sign would help to identify them but cops would still ask who they are.
