ok everyone talks ab her acting in coven but can I draw attention to her in asylum? she literally played such a raw, emotional character so well and I feel like no one ever gives her credit for that. Even the way she was portrayed physically was amazing.

Honestly Coven was so incredibly meh compared to everything in Freak Show and before it as well. Coven was so tame and isolated everything seemed so small and not impactful tbh.

I don't think she defies the ageing process. Though she is, and looks, elderly, she wears her age as a splendid dress, like no one does: and she is SO comfortable in that dress that all we see is a spectacular artist and woman, not an old actress. And seems to be also pretty down on earth.

Her mannerisms are one of my favourite things about her acting. She is naturally very expressive when she talks. It makes for a very emotional performance.

to the people who is saying she is underrated... she's really not. She has been in iconic movies and won oscars. most of all, she is respected in hollywood for her acting. and after AHS, she has become extremely popular among the younger people while most of her peers have lost fame.

The reason I love American Horror Story is because of her. She just draws you in, man. True talent. She’s just so beautiful, and her acting is actually EXTREMELY believable. Like in season 4 (Freak Show) She showed so many different emotions, and made US feel so many emotions. It’s hard to explain unless you’re a fan of AHS, and most importantly, Jessica Lange.

Every bit as beautiful now in her 70s as she was in her 20s. No touchups needed or required. What I love about her acting is she finds a way to inhabit the characters she plays. So many actresses copy or mimic someone. She channels them.

My mom showed me Tootsie as a kid, and the writing and performances ruined me for most of the comedies that came afterwards. It was just so smart, never played for the laugh but at the same time SO funny. And she is one of the absolute breakout performances in that movie. She's just so good in everything she's in.

@Electra Heart Modelling isn’t about being gorgeous. Many gorgeous people never become successful - it’s about that specific time, what’s needed on the market, artists vision, your height, does the camera love you, your ability to carry a brands message etc.
