Vanlife Morocco was going swimmingly until the news hit that the borders were closing to anyone coming in and out of Morocco - a 2 week lockdown thats due to extend.
It seems, even if we wanted to leave, we can't, we're officially stuck here. BUT as we've only just arrived and have a 3 month visa - we're in no rush to leave this incredible country anyways!
In this weeks video we meet up with some fellow vanlifers and give you a tour of their vans! We also get involved in a cooking class that helps underprivileged women and stay in a traditional riad to get the full local experience!

We spent nine months locked down in Morocco when the pandemic first arrived! We couldn’t imagine a better place to be stuck! Enjoy your time. It is a fascinating country for sure!

Sally does an amazing job with the strays (dogs mostly but also cats, donkeys and even camels!), she is trying to make Tangier the first rabies-free city of Africa. Much love guys! @@jj-if6it EXACTLY. I'm Greek American and when I hear stories from my family of how animals are often treated as accessories and then tossed to the street when their "owners" get bored of them, it breaks my heart. If they can't get their shit together, there is no hope for places like Morocco.

As I’ve told several friends here on CAMANO ISLAND, WA that I follow a darling couple on KZfaq who are now in Morocco - who actually wear a cap that proudly displays our island’s name! They hardly believe me. Just like the rest of my life here on a beautiful little island north of Seattle in the waterway known as Saratoga Passage in the Salish Sea. We are real. I can prove it because Aimee wears our cap!

You both are inspiring in being healthier mentally and physically! During thanksgiving week I enjoyed being “lazy”…ok lemme explain my body was saying “please stop moving and chill-ax!” So I did! Buuuut I gained 15lbs in me week! My brain was like “wtf????” So the following week I did some yoga for a week straight and lost 10lbs! Seeing results was very motivating! Thank you for inspiring me to be healthier!

I've never seen a converted vehicle personally but after watching so many vloggers with their vans and buses I've noticed myself seeing other white vans and buses and other large vehicles and wondering what they look like inside or how they could look inside. When we were at Disney World I got some stuff from Morocco. One thing is a my favorite, it's a twisted purple cord with bells tied to it. They have writing on them and they are all a bit different bells. It makes me happy hearing them jingle. I have put them in different places and right now they are hanging on my closet door. I got them 20 years ago.

Oh no, not again! I just watched Eamon and Beck get back home for her surgery (which, thank Goodness they did when they did) and now they can't come back? Ya'll had just gotten there. I was looking forward to more antics with the 4 of you when they got back. Oh my.

Oh my god. Im a quiet fan from afar… I’ve just checked back on your channel cos Yano, you both randomly pop into my head at 10pm at night and I fancy checking up on what ya up to. I am so HAPPY you’re at almost 200k subscribers. I remember when I first subscribed you were at like 15k. Also soz about bein trapped in Morocco lol. But well done on being A list celebs. I’ve been thinking of you guys as the COVID news has been changing. I hope that when you’re ready to leave exiting will be easy for you but in the mean time Morocco looks like it a good spot to be ‘stuck’. Safe travels lads!
