Visiting the Lake District in a van? Want a good campsite? This week, we visit Pooley Bridge on Ullswater Lake. With wild camping practically impossible in the area, a meet up with friends and enjoyment of the lake meant a campsite was the only option.
We got lucky with a direct, lake fronted site allowing for fun times and immediate SUP board and kayak access.
The village of Pooley Bridge is a beauty and a highly recommended visit.

Omg guys for some reason, probably thar bloody algorithm thingymajig, I've not seen your last 3 videos. Literally done a physical search for your channel and I'm still subscribed so my humble apologies for not being here in what feels like months! This one was special! I ❤ The Lakes. This was the epicentre of our Courting days when my Wife and I got together. We were up and around the Lakes every other weekend. Spent some time there! The place is stunning! Glad you had a beautiful time there, can you send Bleu to untangle our Christmas lights? Love to you both!! ❤

Hello you lovely people. Aww sorry you had a bad time with the Gazebo. Hopefully you get a result. I've been through Pooley Bridge but didn't stay - I don't think - as I was trying to make the campsite on time. I left my bug killer on last night as I live on the side of a park we get daddy longlegs - caddis flies - I hate them almost as much as mozzies. I need to get Kayaks out again soon. Take care you lot.
