And that line Mathangalai padaithan (not matham thanai) is in record plate and Radio. Kavignar used it to denote the differences created by religions as a whole product and it is still apt. Censor board, like many people of that time couldn't understand the philosophy but worried about its implications only. It's kavignar's generosity to have changed the word to Panam thanai but it didn't actually fit the story narrative. If one sees tge film then only one can understand that philosophy.
