If there will be war, Finns and Poles have bets going on who will reach the strategic targets first. Our Polish comrades in arms are very competent. Russia believes only strenght. They do recognize only few human emotions, but fear IS among them.

The words of this song definitely tell of the Finnish Civil War 1918. The antagonists were the Finnish Whites and the Finnish Reds. Nothing to do with the Winter War 1939-40 or the Continuation War 1941-44, both against the USSR. The song indeed mentions "Red Russkies" but this is only because the Russian revolutionary troops in Finland were fighting alongside the Finnish Reds. The militarily well trained Finnish Jägers (the ones in uniform) fought in the ranks of the White Army. Their original goal was just to expel the Russian troops from Finland. They were confused to find themselves fighting against the Finnish Reds, too. Probably that's why the song emphasizes the theme "down with the Red Russkies".

@@jounisuninen Good point, the ones who started the Red Rebellion were the Finnish Bolševiks who wanted to overthrow legitimate government of the Republic of Finland. The commies from SDP (Social-Democratic Party) were the aggressors and they were supported by Red Soviets. Good thing that White Army won the war, otherwise we would have lost our independence to Soviet Russia.
