Dude can you help me I'm new to fifa 20 but I played fifa 18 and I skipped fifa 19 I love manager carrer mode but when you simulate a match( AI plays you just watch and see who scores gets red cards) in fifa 20 it just simulates without showing you the process. So is there anyway to change it to watch the simulation??

The Basque challenge! Playing as Athletic Club, you have to follow their Basque only policy, which means you can only sign players that were born and raised in the 7 Basque provinces in Spain and France, spent time in a youth academy there before they were 16, as well as relying on developing your youth players from Spain

This is the classic one - especially as the AI doesn’t do it - I’m doing this in Pro Evo too. Also fun to try this with other teams - in FM I have a long career with an all-Welsh Cardiff team, for example

The Journey Challenge. With a player or manager, start at a very small club like outside Europe top five leagues. Move from club to club after you achieve your own objectives like winning the title or knocking a team off their perch.

Your rebuild point is spot on. I play ‘19 still bc the reviews of ‘20 kept me away. But I just recently started a career mode as Portsmouth. Taking them from league 1 to premier league took 3 seasons and now that I’m in the premier league, it just feels much more rewarding already. Have to actually manage your money as a smaller club too. Great video

you can do youth Academy or what I am doing is pick low club and buy the first Scout and bring any youth with high or low potential and grown them to be stars

I started with Forest Green Rovers and brought them all the way to a premier league title only using youth players. Never bought a single player. Sadly I can no longer renew a contract without getting sacked :(

I enjoy fifa 20, i started with swindon, bought kids and scouted a future star gk whose now 87 at 20 promoted every season finished 7th in the pl in my 1st season qualified for Europa league every player is now 80+ Lacoure and hoever from lfc both full backs at 82, all contracts still under 50k each

I stopped buying fifa . I still have the fifa 18 , play it from time to time . Fifa 19 and 20 don’t excite me to play career mode they are basically the same ! They didn’t add any new mode or storyline , all the changes are irrelevant , they should add something big to revive the career mode but EA doesn’t care We should stop buying their product for them to make real good changes and start improving all the game not just ultimate team

They actively make career mode frustrating to play so that we will play online instead, except it doesn't work on me and I just stopped buying fifa. I wish they would make a proper effort in career mode and also add all female clubs so that we can play as them also even though I don't care about women's football it's fun to play as women's teams, something different and unique about them.

If anyone is a good FIFA player but is struggling with the new ultimate mode, try adjusting the CPU sliders for sprint speed and acceleration down to 48 and the shot speed down to 46. While also increasing their pass error and first touch error to 52 just so its not too easy. These settings have been perfect for me, at least until you build a good team. Try these settings out and give a thumbs up so others can see.

Manchester United rebuild is very easy and boring. You basically get 300M+ in your second season as manager. I'd recommend use either Leeds, Derby or Fulham from the Championship, Sunderland or Pompey from League 1, or Salford or Forest Green from League 2.

I applied the rebuild challenge in sochaux, the team have already won some national competitions however nowadays they are in the second division, I would recommend it because they have some young good players and combined with the french league makes it a little bit easy to have early good success however winning big trophies is quite challenging

I have an idea to make the game more interesting but I think that football manager players know about this. What I am saying is playing as a journeyman. Start your save at a lower leauge. Play some seasons with a club and after 2 or 3 seasons change the club. Do that until the end of the game. Idk but I am trying it and started as Macclesfield.

Youth only as well, created and pioneered by a youtuber called cutzy. You take a team from normally league 2 but can do it with other teams. Your goal is to win the champions league with only youth players (regens allowed).

I am still playing my Inter Mailand Career on Fifa 18😂 I am in 2030 and my worst player is 87rated and 23 years old. Only real players left in my Squad are Donnaruma(92)and Mbappe(94) and both are 30years old. I loved the idea of bringing IM‘s glory back.

I usually retire Casillas and manage a small or middle like team in Germany I realized after 2 or 3 seasons Germany is flooded with stars from the transfer market so it makes for an interesting play and when I get fed up just go play the witcher or horizon zero dawn 🤷🏽‍♂️ because fifa does get boring after a while

I like doing a ‘offers only’ career. Start with a club and can only leave if you are sacked or approached by another team. Started with Hamilton in Scotland - Sacked. Went to Ross County, approached by Hearts, Gent, Southampton (sacked) Huddersfield ( Sacked), luton, Celtic, Villarreal.

Sosa Laflare29 when I got sacked it assigned me to a club but 2 seasons with some. I admit when I was sacked at Southampton for not being able to get them into a top 4 place and had to then go to Huddersfield who were 14pts from safety with 8 games to go and didn’t keep them up and was sacked I get annoyed to have to be on league 1 with Luton so applied for Celtic and moved quickly

I wish you had better options when wanting to leave a club and search for another. I wanted to try a kinda realistic managerial career, starting from a small club and going to bigger ones. I started in the Australian league, won that twice and then only had other Australian teams and the Argentinian league to pick from when choosing another club. No progression at all in my eyes

For bundesliga 3 you should have picked 1860 Munich as an example. That way you can do both The rebuild since they used to be one of the best in Germany, and the road to glory since they are in the last division.

For career mode play it as multiplayer have your buddy be the opponent and there only goal is to stop u from succeeding, so every career mode match u play they play as the opposition.

Try the golden generation challenge. Pick any club, allow international offers, and use that club to scout talent for your international team, and try to win the World Cup with that side. I'm currently doing one with China

Nation only career mode, take a team into the prem thats players are only from one nation, you can do this by customizing the rosters or a use a financial takeover and buy them. You also need to focus on the youth system for that country if you want to compete (small nations are typically the most fun). I am currently doing a USA road to glory.

PES is a great alternate option! A lot of Fifa fan boys don’t give it a chance but pes feels like actual football rather than pace and bad referees. Although u will have to download the teams but it’s not that bad/hard.

I must say pes' master league is always interesting... I got both fifa and pes at the same time this year and within weeks I was bored of fifa career mode but on pes it keeps me hooked. Would definatly recommend people check that out if fifa is boring you

Nice. You forgot to mention maybe to send scouts in countries that are not very popular like China, Austria, Belgium, MLS, Turkey, Scotland, Switzerland etc... there are some good confirmed players and young prospects as well that we don’t here about.

actually I'm still playing FIFA 19 since I didn't bought FIFA 20 at release and then saw what happened to the beloved CM. If you are a little bit creative you can come up with many challenges for your CM. As of right now I'm playing a "Development Club"-Career Mode inspired by AJAX Amsterdam. I altered the team of Everton FC by placing all players above an avg. of 70 in other clubs. I'm not allowed to buy any new players. Every new player has to come from the own Youth. If there is an transfer offer for a player I may not reject the deal right away. I have to negotiate the transfer and if the price is in a plausible range (with the players value) I have to accept the deal. In this case I still have a real fight for the PL title and especially the CL title, even in the 7 th Season on Ultimate difficulty.

A fun challenge I tried is using players from one country. I chose Sweden and played as Strasbourg and we won the French league 4 times in a row

Couple of challenges for Career mode that I do: History repeats; take a previously successful club, and recreate their success, with the types of players they had back then. Example AC Milan 87-90 with the 3 Dutchmen, Rijkaard, Gullit and Van Basten, so you'll need to find, or academy grow, 3 dutch players for those same positions, and win leagues and UCL etc. Create a new world super power. Using the youth academy, scout only players from e.g. India, and grow a full national team worth of 85-95 players, aiming to have India win a world cup. Edit: Ajax salary cap challenge. Ajax have a self imposed $20k pw, per player, salary cap, and will sell anyone looking for more. Play as Ajax, win the league, and the UCL, while sticking to the budget.

@@TadhgKennelly certainly understand the home grown bias, but I try and create a "new" super power. Ireland have had good teams in the past. Plus, China and India have 1 billion + people, so "theoretically" they should be able to at least produce 15 good players.

4 more challenges: 1. You try to get from the worst club of saudi arabia for example to the best club in europe and win the champions league This will take a few seasons, because you need to get enough reputation to be accepted by one of the european top clubs 2. you have to accept every transfer offer, even if you get a 1$ offer for mbappe This will make the carrermode really challenging, because you will lose your best players really often 3. put every 4*+ team into the english leagues, take a 1* or worse team, put it in the last league and try to get it to the top and win the first league Getting a team strong enough to get into the third league is really hard, because nearly nobody wants to sign at your club 4. try to get every player on your squad on a 95+ ovr It is possible, but it's really hard, because if you get one player on a 95 rating an other player might allready drop down to 94 because of his age

Also instead of trying this impossible new legendary mode or whatever I suggest you guys go in game settings and change the IA stats. It makes the game much more interesting and you actually need to play a little football to score. Plus you can adapt it over time. I like to put the MLS teams and Mexico teams in France and pick my home team and start them in Ligue 2. But as I build my squad, I have to follow MLS roster rules. Best challenge I’ve been able to find yet.

Both manager and player career could literally be FIFA’s main selling point if they put effort into it, especially player career. Instead, though, they’re properly neglected and I’m bored of them both by December each year the new one comes out.

Isn’t the rebuild challenge the whole ting behind career mode. Basically it says to reach the most with the team u pick and buying better or different players. Sounds like normal career mode to me

I did a Gilligham career mode and when I won the prem in 2025/26 season all my players were 85+ then in 2027/28 we won the prem being unbeaten and no draws then my players were 99 or 98

Im not tired by Career mode,im mad at EA because we cant have a decent and proper Career mode because of all the bugs and hiw broken the career mode is.
