It's written in stone. Kanté and Mahrez couldn't wait to go to 'bigger' clubs, but Vards is the epitome of what's lost to English footer now. We City supporters know just how good he is - had he become a player at Liverpool, for example, the media would have talked about 'world class' and many more England caps would have come. But here he's become the all-time legend.

Also, people forget even without the pace he used to have, he’s a fantastic finisher. Over 100 PL goals over his time at Leicester. I think he should move into more of a poacher role and have someone else do the running. And it would suit Vardy because of his ridiculous off-the-ball movement that somehow always keeps him onside but always first to the ball. Also let’s him get close to defenders and wind them up. If Leicester can get Daka fit or another fast ST, I think Vardy as a poacher is the best way for him to play his best football.

Vardy has to get that statue soon. Best striker i've ever seen play for us at Leicester City. It blows my mind how good he's been for us, consistently for 9 years now, especially when you consider he was playing Non-League football until the age of 25. Imagine how good he could have been if he had started his career with the best coaching and facilities, rather than working in a factory and training part-time. He's proved himself as a world-class striker, despite not being a full-time pro until he was mid 20's.
