the series called "Krypton" showed a very good variation on Braniac during it's small run. It is one of the few seen real life styleS of Braniac who wasn't a later iteration but the original.

When I first heard you say there was a Brainiac in the Amalgam universe I was hoping that they merged him with Ultron but then you said he was Merged with Galactus and you know what that's still pretty cool only problem which DC character did they merge with Ultron is there even an Ultron in the Amalgam Universe

Fun fact: the now-defunct DC TV show 'Krypton' was originally planned and intended to be a 'Man of Steel' prequel series (and the first DCEU television show) . I hope that WB and DC found a way to soft-retcon - or rather, _soft-backcon- - the mess that Geoff Johns has done by retconing Krypton into a DCEU show and bringing slight changes, so that Brainiac might eventually make an entrance on the silver screen, as it was intended to be.
