@@Panfilo2 thats the thing tho. We are so divided now that even coming together for fellow soldiers or not, is a political move. For the OP. Nah man, America only comes together to honor the fallen when it suits the agenda. Everyone wants to honor the dead soldiers. No body wants to face the facts. Why did the soldier even have to die. Why was the soldier even deployed. Why did the leadership fail them. Why was that leadership even put there. Sadly, realistically honoring the dead just covers up the problems of our government. Soldiers who fight and die, should do it for a cause, not for a government. If the cause and government align, then it makes sense. If they don't, then why TF they have to die. Sorry ranting.

Such a heartbreaking thing for any to go through and in so happy their wish was granted.

Victor Pirker, Thompson Falls Montana, MIA Throughout high school I followed the Viet Nam war. I was young, idealistic and raised a staunch American Patriot. I was for the war at the time and yet I felt for all the young men going off to fight. I wore a POW bracelet of a young man who was never found, His name was Washington and I searched death records looking for his name. Many years later I watched the movie, " The Killing Fields" and it forever changed my feeling about the war. I cannot listen to John Lennon's Imagine without thinking about the war and those who lost their lives needlessly. Victor was a contemporary of my Mother. They went to school together in a small rural school house in Montana. The nearest town, Thompson Falls has a memorial to him and another soldier who died in the Korean War and was never recovered. So many lives lost. I cried pretty much through this entire video. I am happy for this young man and his family. It must be a great relief to know where he is at now. I still hope and pray that someday all of the young men lost will be found and returned to their families. RIP Col. Knight.
