So beautiful 🤩 sewing is so therapeutic. I could definitely do this myself one day. For now I’ll watch you do it and wear one you made 😉

I've bought the pattern for this project, can I ask, is the leather for the trim around the outside meant to be thinner than the 2.2mm used for the rest of the helmet? It looks thinner in the video but the instructions/shopping list doesn't mention it. Thanks! Cant wait to make this!

Besides not having the googles and part over the mouth. How does this pattern differ from your Dust Angel leather mask pattern?

Fantastic work as usual. That leather is awesome. Did you age it, or did it come that way? Chrome tan?
@VasileandPavel4 жыл бұрын
it is a leather called Old West combined with a vegtan polished by us. That Old West is aged in factory with acid. I buy overstocks, i never encounter with the same leather two times. I still have a hyde of that Old West. When i'll finish it, i'll say ADIO.

It would be interesting see how you sketch your helmet in its own parts. Do you use some 3D software?

first we make a cardboard pattern, then a cap , then adjustments and a PDF pattern (based on the cardboard one), then a cap and if everything fits, the final PDF and the tutorial. Rhe cap in the tutorial is the 5th or thr 6th version and probably the final one. PDF is made in 2D autocad. Pavel uses Fusion also, but not for patterns
