as far as i remember, those pills are made so people that suffer diabetes or similar can start growing the regret towards eating sweet.

I miss Ben and Eric being together with Jamie for this series. Don't get me wrong Sloane is cool but I miss the OG. I agree with Jamie about the lottery thing. Just use your phone. I also liked the idea of the ice straw at first. Because I don't like ice in my drink because then you get less liquid. But now I won't have that problem. (I was thinking.) But it didn't last long and no one wants to have their drinks water down. (Unless it's water OFC.) Plus the only time I use straws is for to-go cups. Like Jamie said just use the container it came in to begin with. Unless it's for to-go cups .

I think part of it is that people were whining about those three being in a bunch of videos...no real reason that I saw, they just didn't like those three together. God forbid everyone in the video contribute to the conversations, I guess.

For the second product, it doesn't actually work. The air you pump in does not contain the same amount of CO2 as in the soda, so the CO2 will still leach out of the soda until the CO2 in the airspace of the bottle have equalized. Products like it have caused many injuries from someone opening a bottle, not realizing how over pressurized it is.

Even with the simple range of sound that cup can make, you can still successfully do most of the main guitar riff to "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" by Jet, helped immensely by the fact that the majority of riff is one chord that stands out exclusively because of the rhythm it is played in.

Since the late 90’s, there’s been a pump designed to keep your soda carbonated longer, and it fits on 2 liters and 20oz bottles. I believe “Pampered Chef” sold it, and it did work.

After being subscribed to Vat19 for so long, something I never really thought about, what is their business even supposed to be? Selling quirky knickknacks? Do people really buy enough things from them to make a profit from the stuff? Do they buy products from other companies and sell them as their own? Never noticed how corporate their videos feel.

And sorry, I'm not saying I don't understand the concept of novelty shop, I just didn't know if enough people bought enough from Vat19 for them to be a big company, I don't know pretty much anyone who's bought stuff like that, much less from an online shop. And I hadn't watched a video of theirs in years, just saw a notification randomly and decided to press it out of curiosity. It was boring and felt really corporate, so I commented before I unsubscribed.

For the soda pump, I work at a science museum where we use it with a bottle and isopropyl alcohol. The pump is a great way to make a cloud in a bottle using these items. Give it a try sometime!

Not sure if anyone pointed this out already but here's a little physical chemistry lesson, while the fizz keeper does increase the AIR pressure, it doesn't increase the pressure of the carbon dioxide that's above the soda (at least not in a meaningful way), and the solubility of a gas over liquid depends on the partial pressure, not the total pressure, as dictated by Henry's law.

I can only see the sweet stopping tablet being good for a prank. Give it to a friend "as a mint" and then don't tell them it lasts 3 hours and share a soda or something. Even then it feels cruel xD
