I have 1 Astra F 1.4 16v 90hp in home and Astra G today gonna pick it up Astra G 1.4 16v 90hp Caravan for the family,what a great car. And to go work an Seat Ibiza 1.9 GT Tdi 110hp with AFN Engine year 1998. Love old cars mate,i hope take care this great cars,give some love they deserve it. Have a good one,big love from Portugal mate 🤙🤙

If its a taxi, police and company car, it means its cheap and reliable. Absolute cars some of which do millions of miles, but never get the same recognition as Volvo or Mercedes, cuz they're "just poor people's cars," and people take their existence as a given. Probably the same reason this one was abandoned.

This car was in an accident, it was decommissioned and it was banned from moving! So it's dying there... But car is still good! Agree with you!

I got a 2.0Di Station wagon one @ 1075000 km and still going strong. Original timing chain still etc.

Astra G is my favourite car ever 👍 especially in the dark blue colour 😍 It's pretty robust 💪

Rear window defroster works. Wow. :) Well. One of the things I hate is the Astra G's radio display. So, those pixels of lcd move very slowly when the weather is cold. :D

G Astra was, and still a good car. Manufactured from 98 to 2009!!! - was produced simultaneously with Astra H (G Astra Classic II from 2004 - basically the same chassis with Twinport engines). I've owned one, then gave to my parents. Bit later they changed it to a newer twinport (Classic II) version. Comfortable, and reliable cars, not provide too much driving experience, but heeey, buy a Astra G OPC. That is a different story!

Astra G was made when GM was making money out of Vauxhall Opel. GM used a lot of Bosch parts and Isuzu Japanese design engines so people forget that this was quality and when after 199 GM lost money on Vauxhall Opel they designed cars cheaper much much cheaper using inferior parts and engines.

It turned on so fast that they say bad about Opels but I think it's a good car ! The only defect of the Opel is that the bodywork rusts

All bodywork rusts on any car. It's what is on the inside is what really counts. The Astra is very robust and made of some really firm stuff
