My dude! Thank you so much for uploading this incredibly useful video. Box of assorted car fuses bought on Amazon Prime for just over a fiver, 5 minute replacement job (using a screw driver to press the release button on the lid made opening it a lot easier) and bam, squirters working again. Probably saved me a couple hundred quid there and being without my motor for a few days if I'd taken it to the garage. Thanks again!

Excellent...I was thinking the fuse but then thought it might be the pump needs replaced as there was no sound from it. Will check the fuse first. Lot simpler to check that and makes sense to check it before replacing parts. Thanks for posting this video. exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for this,I really appreciate your (everyones) time for making guidance How to fix issues ,it saves us guite a few £££.. However I did change the fuse(no.40) a washer didn't work so tried circular movements with the stalk and eventually washer pump started to work. In my case will need get changed faulty stalk

I had this problem with a 2010 Astra estate but at the same time the boot hatch would not open. They must both work using the same circuit. As you said, the screen washer was frozen.

If your fuse is fine (double check which fuse if should be) if you can't hear the washer motor work then check where the moter is and first check wiring looks good around the washer motor. get a friend to activate the washer while you feel the motor, if you can feel the motor try and turn it may be block, a tap on the motor body while activating the washer may free it If visual check looks good, and still no joy you will need to remove the motor from the bottle (don't panic it's not that difficult to remove the motor as it's normally just push fit into washer bottle) Remove the cable attached to the motor, (depending on which make and model car you have you may need to release clips holding the connector in) The motor is normally just push fit into washer bottle, give it a gentle wiggle and pull the motor out of bottle, ( you may find access to motor is restrictive as washer bottles are tucked away in a corner) Once removed do visual check, make note of model number of motor and order a new one Before reinstalling motor connect cable back on and test! Hope this helps

Had the same problem, swapped the same fuse and is working again. But the fuse box lid... acking ell, barely opened it, and when i wanted to put it back, the little plastic pieces which holds it tight on the back broke😂

Not sure if you can help me but I have a 2016 astra eco and the time keeps resetting to 00:00 on start up. It was in at the garage a few weeks ago n the mechanic said he had changed the windscreen washer fuse so im wondering if he’s put another one back wrong? I cant check with him as hes sick at present so saw your video and thought it was worth a try. It seems to save the time when turning off then back but it seems to be more when the cars stood for a while

My washers are doing exactly the same. I have the newer model of the astra i have checked the fuse for the washers that the user manual suggests but it hasn't blown. Should i be checking any other fuses

this was happening to mine and vauxhall fixed it. Now i can hear the motor but there is no water coming from the rear? Any ideas what I can do to look as I am sure vauxhall will find some excuse not to cover under warranty. Great video and wish I had of seen this before I took it to vauxhall last week.

The faults could be related, if a leaking washer hose in the tailgate is dripping onto the boot switch causing the problem, thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Remove pipe from rear washer nozzle then see if water comes out when operated, if yes then clean or replace nozzle, if not then check motor by removing pipe from motor, retest, if it pumps water out it's the pipe which may be block,

I know this has nothing to do with the subject matter but would you know how to get a the head of an AUX lead out of Aux hole. The KZfaq videos say things like a toothpick and crazy glue but I just can't see how that would hold and pulley being such a heavy object would I have to bring the whole thing out I managed to take out the actual little hole part and there was a lot of Wires within a rubber thing. But I still can't manage to get behind it to push it out the other end, any suggestions? Thank you

It’s not something I have encountered, but I tiny drop of super glue gel on the end of another old auxiliary jack plug, should work, I would hold it in place with blue tac for 20mins then pull it out, let me know how you get on,thanks for the great comments 👍🏻👍🏻🛠

If the pump is working, you might have a blocked jet, or pipe disconnected near the boot hinge, see if you roof lining is damp in the rear, 👍🏻👍🏻

Youve changed a fuse.wow. what about an issue if the fuse isnt broke..the rear works but not the fronts. Cant hear motor. Lets see how good you really are.

I don’t claim to be good at anything 😂but if your fuse is good try circular rotations with the stalk, they also give problems, if you get any fluid, replace the stalk. Thanks for the comments 👍🏻👍🏻
