Hello crafters! In this video I show you how to make a Booklet that holds "Tear Off" Journal Snippets with a free printable kit (see link below).
This is a fun project and a cute addition to your journaling desk or as a gift for a journal loving friend.

✂ Bookbinding glue or PVA glue (or Mod Podge) + brush

Tinne you are a marvellous crafter with all your adorable gifts. LOVE this booklet so much and the teal and gold are such beautiful colours. The speckled egg distress ink was perfect for this project. The tear off sheets is an awesome idea and as you say who wouldn’t want this as a gift. I sure would in a heart beat!!! I don't like this, I LOVE it!!!!!! I am currently creating a little crafter beginner kit for a teenage girl who loves crafting but has no supplies. I am going through all my things and giving her extras of what I have and trying to load her up with goodies to inspire her. THIS, oh Tinne, this is such a perfect thing to include for her. I will make one for her, one for myself and let her know where I got it, and how she can get it and learn to make her own and it will give her a project to get her started on this amazing journey. Tinne, you are such a blessing: so generous, creative, and clever! This is such a GREAT idea. I just made my first one, and it turned out great because of your always clear instructions. I can see this design working in so many ways. It could be a friendship gift with tear-away cards sharing personal moments or quotes about friendship. Maybe a few pockets could be added on the left-hand side so the receiver could save his or her favorite quotes. It would be great for holidays. You could do countdowns to Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Hanukah, and so on. The fact that it's so easy to make and only takes a few hours (not counting the drying time in between) would make it a great gift for so many different occasions. With you at the design table, I picture future renditions of this wonderful project. Thank you again!!

After buying many of big and small kits from VectoriaDesigns, I decided to dip my toe by making this small freebie project. I found out that I had to print this as landscape, other than that, everything was easy peasy. Tinne made the process so easy to understand. I just had to get glue for the tear offs and it turned out so well, I made two of them. I thought the hard part would be gluing together the tear offs. but nothing was hard. I added sparkle with adhesive gems, Stickles and Glossy Enamel on some of the images. This was such an easy win, I'm on to another project I purchased from VectoriaDesigns. I am primarily a card maker so this is a great change and I don't have to buy and store more stacks of patterened paper- most of which I probably wouldn't end up using anyway!

Gorgeous project. Off to buy bookbinding glue! Just a thought, you could add a piece of paper over the top of the 'pads' and when it's all finished you could tear the paper off and any spillages will be taken away with the paper

The gluing part can go easier if you use a little cup or bowl to dip your brush into. Also, the binder clips are great in a pinch especially for those that don't have typical bookbinding tools. However, using the edge of a counter and a heavy object can make this go a lot easier. With the sides and bottom of the cards held together with the binder clips, overhang the front/top edge off the counter edge a bit. The side clips should be placed as close to the corners as possible to keep them from splaying out due to the moisture in the glue. Place your heavy object on top to weigh it down keeping it in place but also set back so that you don't get glue on it. Then dip your brush in the bookbinding or PVA glue and add thin layers going left to right with the paper. Let it dry before adding more glue. If done with care, 2 or 3 application of glue should be sufficient.
