Put your e-file in the reverse when your going against the clockwise rotation, I usually do all of the sides in reverse and then do the clockwise sides, then touch up final shape w/ a hand file once I'm pretty close to the shape I'm going for. Also if you're doing your opposite non-dominant hand your clockwise & reverse sides will be opposite of your non-dominant hand.

omg i loved this video. i loved seeing the close ups because watching from home and trying to move along with you can be tough when looking to look at exactly what you are doing with the curlicues. I am always trying to rewind videos and watch again using the ball bit bc i struggle! but i love these in-depth tutorials and keep my promise if you ever get free online classes i will take them!! much love!!!! ❤❤

❤❤❤ As always I love your videos this one was especially good because you went back to the basics I am not good at nail art so I loved that you kept it very simple can’t wait to see another video. I think I am going to break down and buy a five in one bit I have been using in a fine safety bit as my go to for removing polish and sculpting but it’s time to get with the times.

Thanks again for doing this video as a beginner nail technician who is currently studying for my certificate in Advanced Nail and Social Media Course however the only downside is its all online learning and video tutorials you do have a trainer who is there to guide you and give you feedback on the pictures that you are graded on either you pass or keep practising until you pass there's a 2 year Window to achieve your certificate. I am definitely going to do other training after this that is in a class setting. Until then you are my utube university nail teacher lol

Thank you so much for this video! Lots of good info in one place. 😍 Also, the 5-in-1 is a right and left handed bit, so if you are having skipping on one side of the nail when you're filing, you may need to try to put your drill into reverse to do those sides you're skipping on with your bit, and that might help.

I always have it on forward setting but if you’re left handed it should be in reverse!

Hey girl heyyy, Couple questions, 1) How often do you change your purple sanding band? 2) Should i be replacing the cuticle bits like i replace my drill bits? Or is it less often? 3)Do you have issues with the chrome getting on your top coat using the profiles backstage chromes? :/ I literally have a top coat specifically for chrome only because it mixes when applying topcoat. But i think i bought by chrome from Amazon, so i wondered if that was why.. 4) Absolutely gorgeous Vee 😘 miss ya!

Sanding bands should be changed out with every client for sanitary purposes, also I turn it around sometimes for the 2nd hand so it’s like I’m starting with a fresh sanding band with out using 2 if that makes sense! I’d def say less often, because you’re not using it to file on hard things they should last a lot longer! & honestly I haven’t noticed it but I also don’t use it as often as I did when I had a full clientele, but even then I wouldn’t notice it in my topcoat, are you dusting off excess? Thanks love! Hope you’re doing well 💕

Hi Vee!I also love the kiara sky acrylic primer. But I never know how long to wait before starting acrylic application after I use it. Since it’s so thick and wet I can’t tell when it’s “dry”. How long do you wait?

Not sure if there’s a specific time to wait I never checked the bottle but I apply on all fingers, get my powder ready & monomer poured then apply. So however long that takes

Took me damn near 8 months to learn how to stop lifting ... my process is simpler... but the materials are more expenses ... products from light elegance... high priced but the most effective no lifting products in the game
