Some 20+yrs ago BK had a failed vegan burger market test in NY. It tasted really good but sadly it did not sell. I tried replicate it by blending tempeh raw w/ onion & garlic then form into patties. You can brush it w/ BBQ sauce+oil & grill it. So so good

I make your other black bean burger, will have to try this one. On the vegan mayo you made, how long will it keep, I have been wanting to try making my own. Have never tried tempeh wasn't sure what to do with it, will have to try that one too.

Would I be able to omit the onions (swap for maybe radishes or some other similar textures veggie) and switch the BBQ sauce for ketchup? I have some food intolerances and can't have onion. When it comes to grilling burgers I know things have to be just perfect or it falls apart 😂
