I really want to visit Korea, but I have been so scared going as a vegan, in case there is hard to find food. But all of this looked absolutely delicious!

as a vegan living there now it is actually very difficult to find food especially without knowing any korean. you can make a lot of detours to specific vegan restaurants but if you go with non vegan friends you’ll have a tough time

Gidday. Thankyou for sharing your experiences at home. Years ago, I worked with many Korean visa workers. I still count those people as dear friends, despite our differences. While the language barrier was difficult, we overcame it with a Christmas lunch at work. For our section, we organised a Christmas lunch and invited all of our coworkers to bring a plate of food. Many of my Korean friends never celebrated Christmas before. As our workers were from many different nations, we had a truly multicultural celebration. I also gave cards and small gifts to them, especially before leaving Australia. I bought a Korean dictionary and learned to write in Korean in their farewell and Christmas cards. I also taught some of them to swear in English. LOL I also learned from them about how to eat Korean foods. To this day, many years later, I still visit a Korean Grocery Store, from time to time, to enjoy their delicious foods like kimchi. I have a lot of love for the Korean people. ❤️🇦🇺

What a gorgeous place and amazing vegan options Every Asian country ive visited has the same kind of spark to it and i see it in this video too. Like this really beautiful, deep and sacred culture/spirituality/heritage behind it. i adore it Wearing "medical" masks is so weird tho😂😂😂 its like... stop itttt can we plz be human again?!
@b0o0dlesn0o0dles
@b0o0dlesn0o0dles Жыл бұрын
Koreans also wear masks due to air pollution problems (in particular yellow dust) but also wear them out of consideration for others. Before the pandemic, it was not unusual for a person to wear a mask when sick with a general cold/flu. Obviously we're still currently in a pandemic. Korea have an ageing population so wearing masks to stop the spread of Covid to vulnerable populations is also something many people consider... to protect their deep and sacred culture and heritage as you so lovingly put it ❤
