Are you expected to tip for a taxi? Had a bad experience with the taxi driver demanding a tip after our ride despite us already tipping about 10%. Stuck with Uber the rest of the week, seemed to be cheaper and no awkward tipping stand offs.

Tipping is generally encouraged in Las Vegas where most have to work two jobs for one OK income. Maybe the Taxi driver didn't realize you tipped? I usually tip Uber drivers $5. - Movestro
