Are you expected to tip for a taxi? Had a bad experience with the taxi driver demanding a tip after our ride despite us already tipping about 10%. Stuck with Uber the rest of the week, seemed to be cheaper and no awkward tipping stand offs.

So in regards to your Wynn Black Status not being valid in Boston, that is in line with what the fine print said with the Wynn Las Vegas status match terms. It said specifically that their status match was just for Vegas and would not work anywhere else. I was curious if that would be true, or how they would even know, so i'm kind of shocked to see that it was actually enforced.

It may not be illegal but may be against terms and conditions of some players programs. They can use that to potentially close your account confiscate points etc.

Have a friend who’s done the “pull the card” routine for years. Gets treated super well everywhere thanks to it. They think he loses much more than his actual loss. Would agree that it’s really the casino’s responsibility to safeguard this if it matters enough to them. Saying it’s illegal seems far fetched. It’s like saying card counting is illegal, but it’s not and really just frowned upon.

Fontainebleau wins. They gave me $150 Free dining credit for joining/matching. Went to Rio in May. No tier matching, got a $8 freeplay. But place stinks inside. Take care guys 😃Have a wonderful weekend

I would worry that activating the tier match and not playing would go down as $0 play day. That being said, I tier matched at Fontainebleau on the first day and played a decent play day of slots, then came back two weeks later and played an even heavier slot day. I have received no offers from them.

It is a very nice room. But I personally would prefer if the "living room" area was seperated from the bedroom area with a wall, and one of those bathrooms be located in the bedroom area. Now I wouldn't be mad if they placed me in this room as a comp. Lol

I enjoyed watching your video. Out of all of the Wynn/Encore In Room Dining reviews I watched on KZfaq. You guys are on point on top of every food blogger that did a video. I work there at IRD. After Covid shut down many guests that I encountered came to Vegas that were disappointed with room service to go boxes from a lot of LV Strip hotels. One of the reason a guest will come back to Wynn/Encore is due to IRD table delivery. Steak nachos is the number one seller for Wynn/Encore IRD. The hot dogs were taken off the menus about 10 years ago because it wasn’t selling. Thank you guys for staying at the Wynn.

Wynn is by far the best buffet in Vegas. Bellagio is living off it's past reputation. It's not that good. Bacchanal was good pre-covid but the food is mediocre and the service is nothing special.

I just got back from Vegas this past weekend made Platinum at the Wynn with their Tier match, went in high limit room won 4K on top dollar 50$ a pull so Happy. Luv the Wynn, wife & I ate at Wing Lei so GOOD!!!!!!

Any advice on earning comps as a table games player? I feel as if you get absolutely nothing unless you're a black-chip player. A $1,000/day bankroll won't survive the volatility at that level where as on slots you'll earn tons of comps.

Buffet and endless alcohol is a bad mix. I can speak from experience. 😅

Wynn’s room service is superb. Even a simple bowl of Tomato Bisque soup was very good. We have tried a simple pizza and enjoyed it late at night. Also the New York Steak Sandwich was enough for the two of us to share along with fries. I’m curious what breakfast options are your favorites from room service at Wynn.

The woman who lost $12,000 will definitely be responsible for the taxes (unless this story goes viral, and the IRS has a heart). While I would NEVER put that kind of money into a checked bag, it's just sad that people steal from other people. By the way, she didn't want to carry any kind of extra luggage on Spirit because it is cheaper to check your bags than to have carry-ons.

I am a non-smoker, and I frequent casinos all the time. The only thing that bothers me is the disgusting ashes that smokers leave behind at a machine. Otherwise, I am aware that people are allowed to smoke in casinos, and that is part of the gambling experience for some people. If someone's smoking bothers me, then I will just move to a different part of the casino. While banning smoking in casinos would not affect me in any way, this attempt by do-gooder groups to ban smoking in casinos and bars just doesn't sit right with me. You're probably right that this is inevitable, though.
