Join us for Day 14 and 15 of our epic 18 day trip across America and Day 1 and 2 of our second Las Vegas series.
We have now left Zion National Park and headed back to Sin City, not without a little scare though as Russell believes he has lost his passport. We check back in to the Nomad hotel and get a sweet upgrade to one of Nomads biggest and best suites. We join our friends for a night of drinking and slot action in The Cosmo and grab a quick dinner from two of our favourite spots in Cosmo which are Bang Bar by Momofuku and Secret Pizza . The Following day we visit the Bellagio to see the new Autumn Fall gardens in the Bellagio conservatory and have a day filled with playing slots before heading out to a famous local hotspot in Vegas. Famous for its happy hour steaks and cocktails we try the amazing steakhouse Herbs and Rye before heading back to the strip and back to Cosmo for another night of debauchery.

What a nightmare thinking you’ve lost your passport and the relief when you find it 😅, I love seeing the food you have…all looks delicious 😋, plenty of drinking to 🤪

If you are a U.K. resident and you get a hand pay you don’t pay the tax, your exempt and you get the full handpay, just tell them you are from the U.K. the should ask to see your passport, and you get the full amount. Same if you are from New Zealand or Canada

We’re not technically UK residents but yes we would just give them our UK passport and see what they do. If they give 100% then great 😊

@@roamingnewroutes All the more reason not to lose your passport!!! I can confirm this to be true - had loads of handpays over the years and never paid tax but you have to show your UK passport (or other country passport that has a treaty). Not sure if they still do it, but they paid the last $100 in $20 bills so you could tip them $20 .

Oh just to add we did have to ask for the casino manager once because whoever was dealing with our handpay was a ****

@@ukcoasterlad941 haha true. If we had lost it, knowing my luck, that would of been the one time I got a handpay and would of had to pay the tax 😂
