Vegetarian Goose is among the top ranked dish of Hang Zhou cuisine. Legend says, it was originated from buddha temples and was consumed by the monks. The sheets of Tofu Skin are fill with delicious juice. It can be served as an appetizer or a main dish and not even exaggerating to say both its nutrition and taste are comparable to the real goose meat.
Ingredients
• Large Tofu/Bean Curd Sheets (1 bag)
• Dry Shiitake Mushroom (15 pieces, rehydrated)
• Dry Black Fungus (10 pieces, rehydrated)
• Light Soy Sauce (3 tbsp)
• Sugar (2 tsp)
• Salt (2 tsp)
• Chicken paste or other broth base of your choice (1 tsp)
• Sesame oil (1 tbsp)
• Ginger (2 oz)
• Cooking oil (2 tbsp)
