I have listened to countless interviews with Dr. Williams. As Dr. Yami notes, so many of us in the WFPB community love and respect this man for all he is and does and I wish I could've met him when I still lived in Chicago. Despite hearing Dr. Williams share his expertise many times, this interview really hit the mark for me. I actually heard some answers to questions I've been seeking for a few years! I really wanted to know what Dr. Williams thought of the EVOO debate in the WFPB community, what his perspective was about the strident claims made by a few vegan doctors a few years ago claiming that 2 famous heart studies did not show plaque reversal, and what specific advice he had for WFPB compliant vegans who could not get LDL in the under 55 range. This interview gave me his perspectives on all these questions and I found it so interesting and illuminating. Thanks Dr. Yami for another great interview to educate us all on the #1 killer of men and women.

Excellent range of questions with substantial time for Dr. Williams to expand upon the topic. I like that he allows his views to change when and if a new study brings forth solid evidence. Too many other plant based doctors are frozen into their views of 20 and more years ago, feeling they have to "defend the fort" from new attacks. Twisting new studies to make the results fit into their old views. Will subscribe.

Loved this interview! So much helpful information. And the interview questions brought answers to questions I’ve had. Going WFPB ! Want to see my numbers come down.

Great interview! I was a bit surprised at his response to your question about what he eats on a regular basis. I really thought he would say a large salad of greens, veggies and beans a day with nuts etc...It also surprised me that he eats processed foods (sounded like on a regular basis). Even if you check labels for fat and sodium it's always better to eat Whole Foods. Just sayin'

I agree with you. My humble opinion....ORGANIC Whole foods, no sugar, I personally don't eat meat and my Arthritis, Diverticulators, High blood pressure and Cholesterol are all good. I also had a fatty liver. GOOD health is not processed foods or meats shot up with Growth Hormones and Antibiotics then forced fed foods they don't naturally eat then stressed to the max for their whole life.
