I tried cosrx snail mucin, vegreen mucin toner and vegreen mucin serum. I prefer the vegreen mucin serum the most! Vegreen mucin products absorb more readily and layers more easily with other skincare / sunscreen. I also love the added peptides in the serum. The toner is nice too!

I recently bought vegreen toner/essence and am liking it. Haven't used long enough to state benefits. Samples were inc of other items in line. Only enough for one try but think I'll order while on sale here in US and put through paces. I won't be using an animal derived product but read good research on benefits of wild yam

I do use CosRX snail secretion cream. It gives good hydration and I am pleasantly surprised.

The brand seems to have quite a few products people enjoy.

I'm using Corx, I think is amazing for hydratation and glow. So far, I can only say that.

My impression of snail mucin is that it doesn’t really do anything special and all the evidence is anecdotal. As a biased vegan I think snail mucin = cruel alternative to glycerin. If someone is seeking hydration, brightening, and/or anti-ageing, snail mucin is not something that would be recommended by many people other than Korean beauty counter staff IMO

I have talked to people suffering from acne that have been recommended it by their dermatologist. But I personally have no experience with it.

@@moose8762 I am not sure. The healing peptides and the low concentration of Glycolic Acid might be helpful.

@@DoctorAnne I think this is a case though where synthetic alternatives are more efficient, standardised, and less cruel. But I mean, if someone has acne, the first line of treatment would usually be a retinoid. And OTC, things like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide (in the USA). Hardly snail mucin

@@DoctorAnne unrelated, but it is crazy how fast KZfaq will remove certain comments. Like someone was saying they didn’t recommend a certain retinol because they don’t disclose the percentage (in the USA). I comment that in the UK the percentage is disclosed and include the percentage and the comment is gone in seconds. I don’t even know how that is proprietary information since it is publicly available if you just google the UK site. But my point is mainly that it is crazy that they can scan the internet for things like this but they don’t do the same for the homophobic, racist, sexist, predatory material. Obviously the technology exists to make these sites safer (eg Instagram detecting whenever Covid is mentioned) but it is used so people don’t mention a retinol concentration that is easy to find…

I bought the old formula of the Cosrx advanced snail 96 mucin power essence, which I’m trying on my next opening of products. The new formula cosrx advanced snail radiance dual essence. The only difference I can see is the new has added niacinamide and fancy packaging and price hike. I’m definitely interested in the vegreens toner but maybe in the summertime because of the loaded HA, I get rebound dryness when I use too much HA, BUT the serum I’m gonna buy soon as no HA and loaded with peptides 😊…they also have a CICA serum which looks very good for soothing the skin and most of all they are all fragrance free so I’m a happy girl as I have eczema…thank you doctor Anne for being this to my attention 😊

They are about to reformulate the Cica serum, a little bird told me. Would you like to see the one I have and their moisturizer reviewed as well? I have them both. but was unsure if you guys would be interested in a dedicated video.

@@DoctorAnne yes please and can you please put some of the products on your hand so we can see what the texture is like of them as most Asian creams are not thick enough for me to use on my dry eczema face 😊

@@monicaduncan7109 I always do that in my reviews, I think that is extremely helpful. It isn‘t very thick though, that much I can say already.

Must be hard to avoid, HA seems to be everywhere these days. Is it all types of HA or only the low molecular weight one?
