My version of of the software looks like a very slim down version of what i see here. I don't see images of the tracks before i choose them, no work bench, not as many settings options. Is the newer version like this?

Sticks are normal in assign sticks but those are not working in Quick start. I'm the one who needs help.

Does anyone know how to set Actual Rates in Velocidrone? Not Betaflight rates, Actual rates. The stuff you type on the CLI in Betaflight. I.e., instead of 1.00 0.80 0.00 for 800deg/s you enter 1.00 800 0.00 for 800deg/sec. You can get one more decimal of tuning precision this way. In Uncrashed and Betalfight (on the CLI), you can do this. I'm not seeing a way in Velocidrone.

I bought a license and a Micro Class Quads content but i cannot see them into the soft, any help please ? I tried the Launcher.exe but still nothing

I took an update today--haven't run it in a while, don't recall when last. Weeks, sadly. The Crash Reporter 😫reports it as v.1.17.1 I look at the datestamp of the app it says 10/2019. So I guess other files were updated. Is there a way in-sim to report/show the version? If I see in the launcher the changeling--is the newest one (-938 in my case) the one installed? How do I know which I have? Does anyone care the version number? Or do we just keep track of the date? Also, the link to the Discord Server doesn't do anything.

Got a massive issue where its stuck on a infinite loading screen. Sometimes i get in to see the map but cant start flying?

I just started this sim and would be nice to have categories/skill levels such has beginners, intermediate and advance. I seem to be spending more time trying to find a race track that matches my skill level. Thank you in advance!

Empty scene day near the bottom of the list there are a sequence of tracks all with the same starting name designed for beginners.

I wish there was a way to enable the Battery Sag Compensation setting in BetaFlight in Velocidrone. Or is it possible and I just missed the setting?

it's pretty much already doing this by default - sag would be greater otherwise when you have been full throttling a whole track.

I am facing Network problem, when I connect to Internet FPS drop to 5 then after disconnect it goes upto 200 FPS. Is there any solution for this problem???

I wish it was more popular so we could justify doing it, unfortunately it is quite a lot of work as we would implement it exactly as it is done in the real world (not faked). This makes it quite an expensive endeavour and we probably wouldn't get a return on the investment. However, while you are here may I take this opportunity to say I am a big fan of your flight videos on your youtube channel - the 70 tricks video is just awesome, thankyou for making it.

@@AuxPlumes yes this is really the issue - adding a feature usually requires some sales incentive to do so, otherwise we are best spending our development hours on other things with better returns - and the 10 pilots (yes I know this is a joke but it does in some ways reflect reality) just isn't going to pay for the effort involved, which is why we keep saying we won't do it, not unless it suddenly becomes popular.

@@Velocidrone I understand the stakes and fully respect it, but if you somehow get the oportunity to do it - and I know it's very unlikely, I would totally be down to showcase and promote it. I feel like it's an egg and chicken situation, most people don't really know about it, but would probably get into it if they knew how fun 3D is, even if they would eventually only fly it in the sim. This is nice for LOS flying too 🙂

@@AuxPlumes I'm an ex 3D heli pilot, so I would probably enjoy it as well but I have to find some point where we aren't majorly stacked with work (seems to be all the time) to try to fit something like this in and not impact our other projects.

is there a way to get throttle low position on centeret stick? like on ps5 controller?

gamepad mode in main settings menu. However - this will make the throttle very sensitive, so I would use the trigger on the ps5 controller for throttle instead, it gives you far better throttle control.

yes but we don't recommend it as they are unsuited to the precision required to fly.

Highly recommend that CAN assign the Lock Unlock able to fly function in Controller Panel ! It's much better on Joystick than W key on Keyboard.

the W key just happens to be what people are using for looking at flight lines - it is not the best way to do this and we will likely develop some better ways to position the camera rather than making the W key a controller function. W key was originally made for us developers to use when working on sceneries and was never meant to be a customer capability.

trying to download it, its incredibly slow, at this rate I may have it downloaded by 2025, is there an issue?

The servers are all capable of over 50mb's for someone with a good connection and the average download speed of customers is over 10mb/s. We cannot fix slow download for customers where our data is being throttled by their own service provider or by a link the service provider is using that throttles our data.

Just FYI we use a content download network, so if there is an issue it needs to affect multiple servers across multiple data centres all at the same time (ie. very unlikely). So download issues are pretty much always down to the customers service provider or the links that service provider uses being throttled.

typical, oh well I'm just waiting for it, I've done a speed test and I'm getting nearly 50mbs download, it must be throttled somehow though

@@undahdaskin it is frustrating for us as well as despite paying for high speed download servers some of our customers don't get to use them due to throttling. The removal of net neutrality for data was a huge loss for everyone. You could potentially circumvent throttling by using a VPN - although this does not always work.

@@Velocidrone after ibtalked to you it actually went to zero bytes being transferred, but I left it running over night and in the morning it was downloaded, I appreciate your responses, if anyone else has issues then be patient because it's worth it, I have it up and running now and it's awesome, thanks again

maybe put the star rating feature over the scenery name of the track, and not the track name.

it's a mouse over function, if you can't remember the track name you can just move the mouse off it to see it, I don't see any reason at all why we would need to put it elsewhere.
