yes, it's your antivirus. The patcher is trying to update files and your antivirus is stopping it. So it gets stuck in a patching / verifying loop. Put an exception in your antivirus for the simulator folder so it doesn't interfere.

no, it doesn't need to do that but it depends on how you do the connection, if you use a hotspot then your phone may only allow one wifi connection, in which case it would disconnect you from the internet via wifi. However 4G/5G internet would still work.

you may need to adjust the pids to allow for the changes you are making to TPA . We have to turn the physics of the simulator down a long way to work on mobile devices, so the quads are much more sensitive to changes where you are making the tune more agressive.

to do a reinstall you just go to your velocidrone folder, find the /app folder and delete it. Then run the launcher and it will reinstall. Velocidrone runs in a game engine - it does not support copy and paste (like most computer games), you will have to type in your rates.

we are not in control of the ERLS code, so it may be that on RadioMaster with built in ELRS they are turning off the wifi for some reason - you would need to query this with ELRS and Radiomaster as it is not something we can just update or change for you. The simulator once wifi is turned on will listen and it will continue to listen forever - we don't at any point turn off connection. If your connection is unstable then you should use a hotspot so that the data connection is being used only for stick control data and using a device right night to your iPad and controller. If your 2.4G network is busy you will have an unstable connection, similarly the further you move from your router the less reliable the connection will become.

there is controller initial setting in this channel, try that one. If you can get another controller, try that one too.

click single player, then add quad button, then freestyle quads button. If you see freestyle quads then you have the freestyle pack. On the scenery selection dialog there is a drop down for selecting sceneries on the left, this contains the extra sceneries in the freestyle pack.

plug in the controller - go to the controller dialog in the simulator and see if it lists your controller and shows it by name (with unconfigured after it). Press the assign sticks button to run the setup wizard and follow all the steps. When you are done you should see your sticks moving. If your controller doesn't show at all in the controller setup menu then this is nothing to do with velocidrone and you have failed to connect the controller to your operating system - refer to the controllers manual on how to connect it to windows / osx or whatever you are using. Velocidone does not connect to controllers directly - it connects to the operating system provided gamepad / joystick device created when you plug it in. If this device is not there then your controller will not be seen in velocidrone and you have an operatring system / controller issue not a velocidrone issue..

@@Velocidrone it list my radiomaster boxer. When I follow along with the controller on screen it doesn’t register the movement but when I check axis I see it moving

@@christopherconkright1317 OK - first ensure that you have run stick calibration on the boxer itself from the radio setup menu. This ensures your stick extents and centres are set correctly on the radio itself. Second ensure only one gamepad type device is plugged into your computer. Thirdly go to the axis display and ensure that only one axis is moving for each stick axis (ie. the radio isn't in a heli mode where two axis move for throttle). If two axis are moving for a single stick axis correct the problem in the radio settings. These actions should ensure the radio is properly prepared to be used with a simulator. Fouthly makes sure the radio memory you are using is a default memory for a drone and isn't being used for a real quad or for another simulator where they might specify that you set weight and offset in the mixer - as this will mess up the axis outputs.

@@codis9091 a dual shock 4 will connect as a gamepad - so yes that will work. It's not ideal as what would be the throttle stick will center - and that is not very comfortable for flying a racing drone.

@@andrewdatcu870 1) ELRS 3.4 master branch installed on your module 2) ELRS wifi setup to connect to your chosen 2.4G wi-fi network 3) Your phone or tablet connected to your chosen 2.4G wi-fi network 4) wi-fi joystick turned on in the game option in velocidrone 5) wi-fi started on your ELRS 3.4 module and the little spinning / (slash sign) showing on your transmitter that wi-fi is running Note: if you are using a hotspot (recommended) as the wifi network you must have "maximize compatability" turned on for the hotspot as this will make it run as a 2.4G network, with this off the hotspot will be 5G and ELRS will not be able to connect to it. You can start VelociDrone on the tablet or phone and it should automatically detect your transmitter and you can then run assign sticks in the input menu to setup the controller.

yes it does, we made this specifically for iOS and it has been extensively tested. if it isn't working for you then you configured something incorrectly or are using the wrong level of TBS firmware or ELRS. it's a known issue from the last patch update - if you open a support ticket via the support menu on our website we can find your account and correct it very quickly. After the next update it will no longer do it.

@@matthewlusty7970 All I've learned is that Combat Canyon is the wrong one, you have to be in Polygon or Empty Polygon. But I couldn't get those to work either.

As the video quite rightly points out - go to the ELRS website for instructions on how to build ELRS. You can build ELRS 3.4 yourself, using their instructions. It makes no sense at all for us to be the producers of how to build ELRS when ELRS have an entire website dedicated to that single purpose. Also ELRS is not the only way to connect, the Team Black Sheep Tango, Mambo, Crossfire and Tracer modules can all also connect using latest firmware from TBS - and again the best place for information on how to make updates to TBS equipment and configure wifi for TBS equipment is TBS. You can also fly with onscreen sticks - so the fact that 3.4 ELRS is not available as a ready built release (but you can build it yourself) was not a reason to delay release of the software.

we have a VR version in development but you will have to wait a little bit for that to be available. We don't distribute an apk for this, so I'm not sure you could make this work via side quest.

it will only update if it needs to - if there is no update to do it won't do anything. What makes you think you need to do an update?

I'm sorry, this guys is not a content creator mate :) He has LOADS of things to do. He just makes vids about sims new patches and how to use the sim in best ways stuff vids which is highly appreciated.

@@rookiec4 I figured as much, but was worth a shot. If you want to learn freestyle, there are so many videos out there. But there is nothing for any type of direction in racing. It seems unless you live near someone fast, and they want to help, a person is on their own learning.
