Basically vendor risk management happened before accepting to do business with the 3rd party or happen after we accepted the vendor and already doing business with the vendor? Thanks

Vendor risk assessment is done before onboarding of new vendors and after the onboarding.

Is there a connection between 3rd party assessment and RMF. Otherwise, if someone is knowledgeable in RMF, can they apply for such role as third party assessor.
