Richard Harrison vs. Goffredo Unger Great fight from a gritty, underlooked spaghetti western.

Nice one JMoney :) I learnt knife throwing, sleight of hand, upper cuts and cigarette rolling from Euro Westerns, got the scars to prove it.

I wonder if any gunfight in the old west actually ended with someone getting the gun shot out of their hand.
@WisdomThumbs3 жыл бұрын
Probably a few by accident. Maybe a couple on purpose. There was recently a police sniper who shot the revolver out of a man’s hand, and people were just as good at shooting in the past.

That's not how things really happened in the west. This is all movie bullshit.

@@kamuelalee actually, I am friends with his son, Sabastian, and know the story behind Clint Eastwood getting his BIG BREAK by Richard Harrison who turned down a part in a spaghetti western. No one knew Clint except for RAWHIDE TV SHOW FANS. Even then he didn't really stand out like you'd think. For women but, that was not a huge fan base, Richard was asked who HE THOUGHT would be a good replacement for him? The rest is history...Clint Eastwood got his break and was headed to ROME, ITALY. SPEGHETTI WESTERN AT CINE CITTA....I was with Richard's son and wife and child for Christmas 2013 and wanted so badly to speak with Richard who I knew was 2 minutes walk away, Next door at his Villa (Villa Francesca, Malibu, California). All night I wanted to ask to speak to Richard but, didn't wish to be rude. Damn shame we never talked. I think he is 89 years old this year? He is my Father's age ad they knew each other in 1950's in Santa Monica, CA. My dad was known as the Grey Fox by the women of Malibu., The drinking crowd. James Coburn, Lee Marvin, Martin Sheen, and others....they'd all hang out and laugh and drink and chase women. Tough crowd. I don't think Richard ever did that. He seemed like a loner...Raised a Family in Italy for Decades. Did extremely well. Had it all. Everything stops at some point. My last gig was 2015 with Al Pacino, DANNY COLLINS film. I am Featured in the Trailer. You ever forget the LAST FILM. RIP...lol Take care guys. Bless you. Great memories. Richard by the way has a CULT FOLLOWING IN EUROPE & ASIA. He was in Lots of different films and even ROBBED OF PAYMENT by filmmakers who USED HIS NAME, PHOTO to sell their NINJA MOVIES, They paid him nothing. No Royalty for the theft. He was furious. Anyway, YOU CAN THANK RICHARD HARRISON FOR CLINT EASTWOOD.

Always wanted to Meet Richard Harrison. He knew my father in 1950's,60's. My dad owned a home in Malibu, California and use to work out a lot at Jack LaLannes Gym. and Other Gyms in Santa Monica, CA Richard used and worked at. Richard always protected Extras and the little guy on Set, as back in the 50's-60's Extras and lower level actors were treated like sh**. People were hurt/injured badly on set asked to do stupid things. Today we have Laws and Regulations and SAG/AFTRA to protect us. Richard was Hurt too very badly. Spine injuries etc. I was it his sons home (Sabastian) for Christmas 2013 and enjoyed it. However, the entire night I thought about Richard Harrison being right next door on his own property and how badly I wanted to talk with him. I never got that chance! He owns a nice Villa overlooking Pacific Ocean in Malibu, CA once belonging to Malibu Lodge. His son was very fortune ate to get his hands on that property next door to his father. Yes, having grown up in Malibu I am jealous! lol I live close but, not close enough to that wonderful beach!!! Thanks for the westerns Richard and especially for speaking out for the underdog. Your Interviews with French Press were amazing to listen to. From Westerns to Detective shows to Gladiator movies Richard did it all....Over 160 credits. Take care.
