Жыл бұрынThis short video is showing our trip from Venice airport into Venice on one of the ultra fast and expensive private taxi water boats. The cost was €130 each way, the journey is only 25 minutes from the airport to the Rialto Bridge where our hotel was situated. The prices are different depending on where you want to go, but the prices are also fixed. The full price is for the boat, not per person, and we were told they can carry max 6 people. If you can afford it, do it, its great fun and you'r not travelling with lots of other travellers in the public ferry stopping everywhere.

Is it customary/expected to tip the water taxi drivers?

What is the name of the taxi company, and website. Can they go down the whole grand canal to st marks where our hotel is. Versus going the back way around to st marks.

There isn't any website, or company. When you get down to the water taxi area there are many taxi drivers down there, take your pick which one you want to use. The prices are fixed anyway so they will inform you of the price.
