I love Arisi Uppuma, but today my wife prepared following your tips and it taste different and really good. Several years I have seen white colour Arisi Uppuma and today slight change in colour. Thank you sir.

When I was young my mom used to make arisi upma.. and that was out of the world. But I don't know at that time we only have ration rice in our home so mom prepared that. Now a days I'm missing that one...

Arisi upma is one of my favourites and combination with vendhiya chutney or vendhiya kholumbu is par excellence. I tried out this recipe and it came out really well.

Nice different arsi Upma version. I make it in vengala paanai, use kadalai yennai, make it udiri udiri, , don't put kothamali. This recipe is tempting to try too. We love your recipes chef. Sorry bhat, the upma should be dry, yours is semi solid. Best vessel for this receipt is Vengala panai or uruli. Ingredients are ok. But in our families we won't add green chillies and கொத்தமல்லி.
