The way Venom reaches out to Eddie and the way Eddie reaches out to Venom… they know that they need each other. That’s part of what makes this movie so good. They work as a team to defeat a common foe and become a hero in the darker sense of the term. Not what happens in the comics by all means, but a great twist on an antihero in my opinion.

Symbiotes take on abilities from previous hosts so Riot must’ve gotten so powerful because he bonded with strong beings. And in the comics after Venom bonded with Spider-Man he gained the ability to climb walls and shoot webs

@@ChrisFalls you saw that scene in the venom movie where riot was about to eat venom but eddie saves venom by reaching his hand to venom and if it absorbed carnage then venom could be powerful by merging with his offspring but venom decided to eat him cuz he hated it and eaten him so carnage was gone.

I guess every symbiote has an inbuilt ability of its own...just like Riot has an arsenal of weapons as his ability which makes him a lethal opponent...Venom on the other hand has symbiosis as his main power...as he can heal his host at any situation... making it nearly immortal in any fight... This could be the main reason why Venom was considered loser on his planet...as he prefers symbiosis over domination, unlike other symbiotes...

Symbiosis has literally nothing to do with enhanced healing power, could be that Venom has the ability in the movie but the entire species of Venom are exterrial parasites that can undergo symbiosis with humans

they all have that ability to instant heal cause Cassidy was shot inside carnage and had his body formed holes to have bullets just go through him but maybe he just doesn't have any special abilities at all so that's why he is a loser but venom has shown that he is a skilled fighter he doesn't have weapons but he sure can fight I've seen that in venom 2 but I think he may need a certain somebody with abilities to enhance his true symbiote power 🕷️🕸️

@@michaela769 the reason Cassidy didn't actually get shot was because carnage is a blood symbiot, so cassidy literally merges with carnage when they transform unlike riot and venom where they just form over the host

I don't think it hurts Peter that much when he was trying to remove it, mainly because peter has the powers of reducing the pains and they can heal for only a few hours or days or maybe even seconds

Hm from the early comics (and others depictions in media, movies etc) the hurt was more about being rejected by Peter. The symbiote kept going after spidey, his rage fueled even more by subsequently bonding with Eddy Brock who harbored his own deep grudge against Peter for exposing him (Peter was under Venom dark influence back then, mind you) as the fraud he actually was. Venom was more like the crazy (and murderous eating brain) ex at first.

Well Cletus and Carnage didn't bond each other like having a relationship like partners, they only used each other so they can kill everyone. Unlike Eddie, Cletus didn't even move when Venom grabs Carnage before he eats him.

Just watched venom 2, which was good but seemed like it went by fast and alot was crammed in a small amount of time, however the teaser trailer at the end with spiderman leaves me hoping.... In my opinion the first one was my favorite.

@@davidmacamay7099 yeah but the actual fight scene seemed a lot more intense and they actually showcased the symbiotes abilities compared to carnage,where yes they showed him creating weapons when he was angry but he actually never used them,they just punched each other

This scene is very true to the comics. Riot defeated Venom in actuality. If Anne didn't activate the high pitched sound on the speakers, Riot wouldve hopped into the rocket and flew away after absorbing Venom. Venom needs the help of Spiderman to defeat Riot. It was simply the turn of events that made this battle rule in Venom's favor.

I think the action was better but the actual setting and the stakes of the fight needed work, cause one was trying to stop riot from getting to his home planet and dooming the world while the other is just trying to stop some crazy guy from getting married

Who would win riot or carnage? Carnage has cool abilities, but in fights he wasn’t too much stronger than venom (I watched the new movie) so I think riot would win. IMO

Venom had several moments against Carnage where was he was pretty much like "fuck, he's just too strong". Strategy won that fight. Eddy and Venom were smart enough to use that chick to scream and weaken Carnage. It was basically the last ditch attempt. This fight is a little closer. Venom is having a tough time, but he's not straight up getting manhandled. He kind of needed to be saved a few times when he fought Carnage
