One more point to keep in mind, during BIOS update, always keep your laptop plugged in to uninterrupted power source specially when the laptop restarts to flash the BIOS on the motherboard chip.

another tip: when setting up windows, turn of all telemetry and tracking options that microsoft turns on by default and also set your language to "English World". this wont install any bloatware on your system by default. later you can go into settings and change your language back to "English India" or whatever you want

Another important point to remember while updating anything from websites: make sure that they are the official websites of either Intel, Nvidia, AMD, your laptop's OEM sites, etc. and not any fake sites that would have malware or improper software that would damage your new laptop

My cousin ordered lenovo loq laptop with rtx 4060. The specifications on the box was same as he ordered. But when he checked the laptop, it had RGB backlit. Upgraded display with 99% srgb (maybe) and upgraded storage with 1tb ssd, turns out it was a custom order for someone else. It was all in front of the lenovo store executive. And he said if he didn't return he won't be able to claim warranty because of serial number mismatch as of box

one more suggestion before modifying any settings, installing or uninstalling any apps or updates or anything. Basically right after booting up your new laptop use a pendrive (at least 16 gb) and backup your system... you'll get tutorials online about that. This will help you to re-install your windows easily in future if any problem arises

Ye hui hai bro wali baat😀. Iirc, you also have made a video on after laptop purchase guide a few years ago*. There's also a thinking that one should make a system image of the new laptop even before making any windows and other updates, so that if system becomes slow after a year or two- one could reset to that image file to reset to its initial new working conditions. Do you suggest that? Edit- Found it (was in my bookmarks, it goes by the title of '14 points to consider after buying the laptop')

Specs change had occured with me personally. I ordered a 4070 Alienware m16 laptop but had recieved alienware m15 with 3060 specifications had complained the same with dell and now they had sent me 4080 Laptop with Iris scanner. I am happy that I got an upgraded laptop at the same time little dissapointed when I recieved a low specs laptop also it took almost a week for dell to get back to me. I almost thought of complaining in Conumer court but luckily they had replied to me and got back to me with a higher specs laptop.

I have one suggestion for your videos, you can include a segment on how easy/difficult it is to clean the laptop (dust on fans) and apply thermal paste if needed. India is a dusty country so lots of dust accumulates on fan filters reducing airflow. You can also include a segment on repairability or after sales service if you can. Thank you, you make the best and systematic videos.

Ek personal chiz hai ki har windows update karne k pehle ek restore point bana k rakhna, taki agar kuch ched chad ho jaye windows pe, toh usse ham wapas purane system pe aa jaye. Microsoft future pe issi k related kuch update laa raha hai la chuka hai nahi malum lekin aise hi kuch tha ki ab automatically fresh windows reinstall kar sakte hai without pendrive/external device.

Before doing anything check warranty, i got victus in Aug, its warranty had expired by 3 months, i submitted replacement, but they didn't replace it even after 10-15 days, rather they wanted to refund because price had gone up. So i just got the warranty rectified and kept it.

The best is to really NOT UPDATE ANYTHING because the laptop is fully optimized by the manufacturer… so it’s the best thing…

Galat bol rahe ho dost, optimum performance updates k baad hi aati hai.. itne laptops test kr chuke hai.. itna to experience hai bhai

@@VenomsTech bilkul, mera bhi Naya laptop valorant mei 60-70 fps de rha tha. Vantage software mei jake VGA adapter update karne se dedicated GPU use hua varna sab kuch update karke dekh liya kuch nhi chalra tha

@@VenomsTech you are indeed right, but the updates can be done of specific stuff ,rather than all, also, you can always use a custom windows OS, Id love to see a review of any laptop with custom windows , like ghost spectre and all
